My friend currently has them as a public defender. The negative reviews are accurate. Honestly, read Bobby's comments to the negative reviews. It shows his lack of accountability. He blames every issue on everyone else, instead of self reflecting on how maybe him and his team are horrible to some of ...the clients, he isn't that great at what he does...or needs to retire...Same thing with Alexis, she acts like an attorney, but is only paralegal (which is NOT a lawyer). She flat out lied to me and said she spoke to me on three separate occasions. No, I called you three times and never got a call back. They do not come visit my friend, they have not finished going through the declarations together even though my friend has been locked up since December. They reset his court date, but the attorney has yet to come talk to my friend despite him calling the office a few times a week. Do note that my friend requested a speedy trial too. My friend keeps sending requests that the office ignores. When he was trying to get a PR bond, Bobby did not prepare or warn him on the questions he would ask. Instead, he put my friend on the spot and made him look bad in front of the judge. Once again, read his comments to the other negative reviews. That should show you how toxic this law firm is!

These people are crooks. They are in bed with the prosecutors to railroad you. All the previous negative reviews are 100% correct. They start off polite and it seems like everything is positive but before long they show their true colors. They are grossly unprofessional; don't return phone calls and ...will lie through their teeth. Like the previous reviewer said the paralegal Alexis thinks she an attorney but is just a convenient idiot and the associate attorney Coleman is an absolute shame to the profession. The whole "justice system" in bell county is a racket and needs to be exposed. The judge and prosecutors are their colleagues and this is the major reason why you can't receive the proper representation you expect. They will two-step and mexican hat dance all over your 6th ammendment right. They drag their feet on your case and will intentionally procrastinate until you acquiesce to the demands of the court. As you may have gleaned from the other reviews, stalling is a tactic they often employ to withdraw from your case and run off with your money when you become frustrated with their incompetence or finally get wise to their game. I am currently in the process of composing a loquaciously verbose grievance with the state bar.

He was appointed to be my criminal defense attorney. After 3 months, I had to accept that I was going to sit in jail forever waiting on a trial date. He never visited me in jail to discuss my case. He refused to provide me with copies of everything pertaining to my case. In jail, you can't email. You... can only call, but his office doesn't accept calls from jail, even if it's free for him because I paid for the call. So all my efforts to reach out to him to discuss my case were futile. He was appointed to be my public defender, to represent me because I couldn't afford an attorney, but all he did was let me sit in jail because I couldn't afford to do anything else like bond out of jail or hire an attorney that actually respected my sixth amendment. I ended up pleading guilty with time served since I sat in jail for almost a year.

I was pushed off onto this Attorney by my appointed one. He made many mistakes and did not help me as he should have. I was convinced to take a "plea bargain." BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! I was young, no family really, not a lot of money but gave everything I had...sat in jail forever....what was I s...up to do? I was scared to death..I had charges on me that were false! had never been in trouble. I lost my son, my life and am still paying for it...and do you think he cares? NO..you are only as good as your money, and even then you are not! I finally studied some law myself and have obtained ALL of my prior convictions and paperwork that clearly proves I was innocent!! I am getting a good Attorney this time and fighting my record, which has ruined any career I ever wanted, any job I needed and still need! His uncaring mistakes cost me my life and I am fighting to get it back. I would not recommend this Attorney. EVER!
