My son was charged with injury to a child. He agreed to watch a toddler while the mother went shopping. The child was asleep when he arrived. When he looked in on her a short while later he noticed she had stopped breathing and called an ambulance. She had a subdural hematoma (crainial bleed) which ...can be caused by what is commonly called "shaken baby syndrome." She has since fully recovered.
