I’ve been practicing law for over 25 years, with a primary focus on Family and Divorce Law. Throughout my career, I’ve been committed to helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most difficult transitions with clarity, compassion, and results.
A longtime resident of the Dallas area, I graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1984 and have deep roots in the community. I live here with my wife and our two incredible children.
While my practice is based in Collin and Dallas County, I also regularly represent clients in Tarrant and Denton Counties.

Very peofessional
Mr. schmiedeke represented me at the beginning of my custody battle and he is very professional and detailed. His law firm did not continue in my case because there were some other issues involved however he helped me and was honest throughout the whole process. He works very hard from the beginning...
