Great even at a distance

Chris and his secretary were great! I wasn't even in the state and I feel that he kept me updated on the status of my case. There of course were some bumps along the way but Chris reassured me that bumps are gonna happen. He was great and efficient and I would hire him again if I needed child custody... help. He gave me a realistic outcome of the case and it turned out better than I could have imagined.

Child Support nightmare resolved

I have had an exceptionally good experience working with Chris Schmiedeke Law office. Personal contact was mimimal, precise and helpful. My Child Support issue became necessary after the Texas Dept dropped the ball, DID nothing for over a year, month after month, shuffing me from agent to agent, and ...I had to fire them. I like many in this economic down-turn have extreme problems maintaining with old child support orders. By their own guidelines I qualified for a reduction of Child Support. I opened a case online with the Texas Attorney General, opened a can of worms! Chis to the rescue! For what to me meant a minimal charge; Chris stayed on the ball, through several contextural changes and resubmissions to change the order with the TX Attorney General, until the issue was resolved to my total satisfaction. After these 13 months of non action by the AG, and them telling me I would have to wait an additional 9 months to get a court date; (my son is 18 in Sept 2011 well after their court time proposal) I fired them. They suddenly found a court date (the next month) and Chris went to court for me. I live out of state in So California, and I never had to appear in a Texas court! Total time with AG, 13 months, total time with Chris handling the law talk, 4 months. Nuff said.

Excellent attorney in family law

I retained Chris Schmiedeke for my family law case surrounding a custody manner. He was highly professional, very strong in strategy, and produced solid results (he won my case). He was very knowledgeable during trial, and also in pre-hearing motions. I highly recommend him, without question.

Divorce doesn"t have to be horrible.

Chris made my divorce much easier than I thought it could be. It was a pleasure working with him on this matter from the very start. Most of the process was handled through e-mail, which left me time to handle other aspects of what was happening. It sounds a little funny but it seemed easier to get d...ivorced than it was to get married in the first place. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone that is considering a divorce.

Simply Fantastic!!

Mr. Schmiedeke made my divorce extremely easy and pain free, especially for me. A soldier stationed overseas and currently deployed. When I looked for help among the us army's available reasources I could not find any help. But one single email to Chris's office and my divorce went well and was over ...with faster than I could have prayed for. I was kept very well informed and all the work was done quickly. I would recommend this fantastic attorney to anyone who needs help with a divorce.
