PERSONAL Lawyer

I'm not sure what happened with the guy leaving numerous bad reviews below, but our experience with Jerome has been excellent. He came highly recommended from a lawyer in another county. He stayed in touch with us, calling us or emailing us back whenever we contacted him, which was often. He worke...d in the child's best interest. He made what was a very bad situation gradually better. Then, for our final hearing, he worked tirelessly with us for hours putting together a case from thousands of pieces of evidence to condense it into something that showed the truth and substance of our concerns for the safety of the child. The day of our final hearing, he strolled into the courtroom unassumingly, cheerful as ever, and orchestrated a day-long final hearing with grace, experience, and relentlessness. We had high demands and many concerns, and Jerome made sure the court addressed them all. By the end of the day, the judge had personally ordered even MORE than we requested for protection of the child. Additionally, he continued to be gracious and courteous to the other side, even when they were obstinate towards him. If you want to hire a lawyer who will take a sincere, personal interest in your case, you, and your family, then Jerome is your guy. Bring him your evidence, and he will work with it to make your case. When you have questions or concerns, contact him and trust that he will call back with an answer. After knowing Jerome for over a year, we know that not only did we hire a good lawyer, but we hired a good person.

Similar story

He did call me several times for the retainer and contiued calling for what seemed a reasoble retainer at thr time. Court came along and he wasnt prepped. Having to read the pleading for the first time with a copy I presented callinghe did not have one ready for the case. The result was not a favorab...le outcome as expected. Several of us appear to have had similar experiences the last few years and hope no one else is left a victim of similar circumstance. I had to bring to Mr. Stein"s attention that it is frowned upon by his peer review board, and he may face consequences for neglecting client needs. When client phone calls are ignored, money taken without a move forward with pleadings, prep for court, etc., as well as a lie about the current status of the case which happened to me this option may need to be explored. Money taken and no activity

Hired Mr. Stein to handle what he described as a "clear cut " custody case. We provided tons of documentation along with a $3000 retainer. Several months have now passed and zero activity on the case. Paperwork was never filed with the court. And attempts to contact him via phone, email, texts have b...een ignored.

attorney that stole

i hired this attorney for a custody case, he not only didn't do anything, the papers he claimed he filed were the wrong papers, then he had the names wrong on the papers, he never once even got a court date. i asked him for an itemized statement and have never received one to this day. After paying t...his man $3000.00, I expect some kind of movement on the case, he kept saying he would send me back a refund which also has never come. He lied and stole my money. would not recommend this attorney to my worst enemy.

Comes through when needed and goes the extra step...

I hired this attorney when I was running into visitation interference with my ex and my daughter. Mr. Stein came responded to my inquiry almost immediately and provided me information and a point of view I needed at the time. He continued to fight for what I wanted and knew when to give. He has be...en available for me to talk to most of the time when need, however that would be my only negative comment, I would prefer more detailed communication from time to time HOWEVER, the frequency of contact when needed out weighted that. He would answer questions when asked and provided additional help on subjects that were not related to my family legal matters, which is where I can say I was truly impressed. Lets be honest no lawyer is perfect and there were some hiccups along the way but I truly felt Jerome cared about my situation and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure my rights as a father were not only protected but enforced...and that is something you cannot put into words or place a dollar amount on....before he came along my visitation was constantly being changed or denied and the fact that I finally am able to build a relationship with my child is something I cannot truly express in enough words to convey exactly how much that means to me. I hope to continue working with Jerome in the future on other legal matters.

"Jerome is a fantastic attorney who holds his client's best interests at the forefront. In terms of reaching his client's goals, I have personally seen him at his best (in negotiations AND in trial). While always willing to deal out of court if the deal is the right thing to do, he also has no problem pulling up his shirt sleeves and litigating if that's the only way to accomplish what needs to happen. I endorse Jerome without reservation."
