My critique is precipitated by a significant lack of professionalism I have observed in his practice, both in terms of his interactions with clients and his approach to legal tasks. The efficiency with which Attorney Schorsch handles legal tasks leaves much to be desired. A proposal that should id...eally have taken a week to draft has spanned over six weeks under his direction, and it has yet to be completed. When queried about the progress and expected completion date, he tends only to offer excuses instead of concrete timelines. On a notable occasion, a provided deadline was missed without any reasonable explanation or subsequent revision of the timeline. This disregard for efficiency and punctuality is of grave concern, as it portrays a lack of respect for clients' time and the professional standards of the legal field. Moreover, I spent an inordinate amount of time - ten hours, to be precise - in Attorney Schorsch's office, during which he exhibited a propensity for excessive, non-constructive conversation. His conduct in this situation leads me to question the value and appropriateness of his time usage, especially considering the charges associated with such meetings. In the interest of full disclosure, I must note that I am not a client of Attorney Schorsch. Instead, my interaction with him came in the capacity of opposing counsel. While this might raise questions about bias, I believe the need for professionalism and efficiency in the legal profession transcends any personal affiliations, and this critique is grounded in that perspective.

He may be a good lawyer, I have no idea and I do not intend to find out. I advise everyone to be careful about the nice talk, the smile and the time spend with it and the price that will be associated with it. There are a lot of other attorneys to choose from that you can choose, work without having ...the feeling that you get ripped off.

John is a great trial lawyer who knows his law and works great with clients, witnesses and the system. He has represented me in many business projects and has won all of my court battles. He is wiser than a tree full of owls and meaner than a junk yard dog if someone disrespects his clients or the c...ourt. John Schorsch represented me in a divorce/custody case. Due to repeated and frustrating outcomes, John and I agreed that I would hire new counsel to represent me. And, in that conversation, John agreed to transfer my files and update the new counsel at no charge. John’s final bill then arrived with m...ore than $5K in charges for passing my file. I paid the final bill, deducted $5K and sent my timely payment along with a letter reminding him of his verbal promise to me and why the $5 had been deducted. In total, I had paid John $95,000. I received no further invoices. About a year later, a bill for $5K arrived from John with “previous balance” in the description area. Again, I contacted John, told him the balance wasn't owed due to our agreement and referenced my letter to him at time of final payment. His invoicing once again stopped. On July 7th I received an invoice for $10K from John - $5K for Previous balance, and an additional $5K for 0.00 hours of Professional services rendered. I continue to receive monthly invoices from John. John was very unsuccessful in representing me, but was well paid. I feel his billing behavior is very unprofessional, petty, and totally unwarranted. His word should mean something. On July 7th I received an invoice for $10K from John - $5K for Previous balance, and an additional $5K for 0.00 hours of Professional services rendered. A benefactor, with knowledge of all this, paid his invoice to John and included an additional $5K. He verbally told John to please stop my invoices. John cashed this benefactor’s check. But, I just received an invoice from John still trying to collect $5K. John was very unsuccessful in representing me, but was well paid. I feel his billing behavior is very unprofessional, petty, and totally unwarranted. His word should mean something.
