Want a honest straight shooter at bat for you, choose Len Conner
Len is a very thorough lawyer who puts your best interest FIRST. However, Len would not hesitate to tell me when there were things I wasn't going to like to hear but needed to know how things would work, and not always the way I wanted them to. The truth was best to know what to be prepared for! Len had me assured we were in the best hands. He never missed a scheduled meeting and he always took my calls. What I liked most about Len was his knowledge of Family Law and ability to present my case.
My family and I owe a debt of gratitude to Len for his service. He is a solid lawyer who practices nothing but the best knowledge of family law and A-1 customer service.
Len has been my attorney for over a year now and has help me tremendously with my cases. He first went to bat for me during my divorce and helped me receive as fair as treatment a man will receive during a divorce. He shot me straight and didn't promise anything he knew he could not guarantee.
My second case involved a custody battle for my boys after my ex-wife checked out and became addicted to drugs. Len again went to bat for me and help me win custody of my boys to put them in the better home.
Highly recommend Mr. Conner for anyone who wants an attorney that will stand up for them and do what is right for you.

Honest
Len did not feel he was the right fit for my case so he referred me to another attorney. That's pretty stand up ethics of you ask me.

Experience, Guidance & Support
After most of my life being married, I found myself wanting a divorce but not knowing what to expect and what, not only myself, but my spouse had as rights. Len Conner explained the process for both amicable and disgruntled scenarios, and spoke honestly without sugar coating which is exactly what I was looking for in my attorney. He helped me throughout a difficult time with grace and caring, and I truly appreciate him and couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, Len!

A Lawyer with Expertise and Knowlege as Solid as His Delivery
I recently joined the elite group who make up the 75% (or whatever the statistic is now) of the married population who are now divorced. However, there is another more impressive and rare group that I joined as well; the 1 in 100 men (average estimate) who sustain 50/50 custody of their child/children and who also pay zero child support in the state of Texas. What?!? I didn't think it was possible either. But, Len Conner surely showed me the way to that realization. It was a very stressful time deciding to go through with my divorce due to the interest of my 4 year old daughter at the time. However, having met Len and interacting with him and his stellar support staff, I truly regret waiting as long as I did. If I had known of Len a few years ago, I would have certainly acted sooner. His knowledge is unbelievable. From our initial consultation meeting to our mediation hearing to the day I stood in front of the judge and watched him make everything final and declare me single, Len called the shots like a seasoned pro. Everything he said would probably happen happened. Every rebuttal from the other side he said we would probably hear, we heard. It was like he writing a book about my divorce and the rough draft had already been completed and we were just coasting through the editing phase. It was truly incredible to witness and be a part of it all. If you are in the unfortunate situation of facing divorce, please do yourself and the interests of your family a HUGE favor and contact Len Conner immediately!!!

Amazing results
Allow me to paint a picture. Rio Grande Valley, TX, 600 miles south of Dallas, TX a non-custodial parent with two infant children at home lies at the mercy of the courts. The young mother's first born son is living with his father 1650 miles away.
Hello my name is Kristina Bowen. I am the young mother living in the valley. As if living so far away from son wasn't hard enough I received notice that I had a warrant for my arrest due to back child support. A hearing was scheduled for 9 days later. With no way to travel 600 miles to appear in court and not having the amount they were asking for I panicked. My babies at home could not be left without me. What was I to do? I began searching for a lawyer to represent me. I started by applying for legal aid. My case was denied due to limited funding. Then I began searching for a lawyer that would work pro bono. I searched the internet and made phone calls for days with no results. Friday afternoon came and just before close of the day I contacted Len Connor and Associates. At the time it was just one more name in the sea of attorneys I had searched. Expecting to leave a voicemail, I was pleasantly surprised when a bright voice answered the line. Flor Rodriguez, office manager, was working late and stated that she couldn't not answer the phone. After explaining my situation she scheduled an phone interview with Len Connor for the following Monday. I was to fill out a detailed information sheet in preparation for that interview. Over the weekend my phone ( the only internet access I had at the time) was dropped and broken. I could only receive calls. I lost all contact information I had saved including the phone number for the law firm. Monday came and went and I did not receive a phone call. With the court date only three days away I all but gave up. I was sure no one would take the case on such short notice. Tuesday morning my husband received an email from Len Connor with the information sheet to begin. It wasn't too late after all. Less than 48 hours remained before I was due in court. With little knowledge of my case Len Connor agreed to represent me. He and his team went to work for me immediately. They were able to reschedule the hearing to allow me a chance to make travel arrangements and gather funds. By the time the second hearing came around I was a nervous wreck. I got on a bus, kissed my husband and my babies goodbye for the first time, not knowing if I would have to go to jail or if I would be able to catch my flight home the next afternoon. I arrived in Dallas in the early morning hours and all I could do was wait. Mind you I still hadn't even met my lawyer face to face. When it was time to go before the judge Mr. Connor helped me to remain calm by letting me know just what to expect. Despite all the obstacles getting there he was able to have my warrant lifted and I was able to catch my flight back home to my little ones. The monetary part of the attorney/client relationship has been paid, but I will forever be indebted to Len Connor and Associates for the peace of mind they awarded to me and my family.

Len Conner the Super Lawyer!
Len Conner and his staff are the real deal. They tell you like it is. They have always been available when I needed them. Very knowledgeable. If there is something he is unfamiliar with he will research it. Even present the info in court to educate the judge if need be. He will not lead you in the wrong direction. He will guide you to do what is best for you and your pocket book, not his pocket book. I love love love his paralegal Lesa. When I tell people about them I tell them it is like she is like the pitbull and he is the brains of the operation. They make sn amazing team in my opinion. I really cannot say enough good about LenConner and Lesa.

Unreliable and slow
Mr. Conner failed to submit a viable divorce decree to the court, repeatedly. He blamed the court for being slow, but when I called the court clerk, I was informed that the document Mr. Conner submitted was rejected by the judge on the day it was submitted. This firm was in no hurry to complete my divorce, and kept asking for more money to pay for their mistakes.

Reality: Lawyers don't "submit" documents to a Judge for approval. We have actual hearings or trials in front of the Court, and the Judge makes a ruling. We charge a fee for those services, which this client chose NOT to pay. I have come to the realization (as an aging attorney) that I will never be able to make everyone happy all the time. But, I will not apologize for expecting that my firm and my employees be paid for their work. I'm proud our firm, and our work.

Beware of this law firm. They are very dishonest.
I hired Mr. Conner with his promise that he, himself would represent me. After a single phone conversation he turned me over to his paralegal, who was unable to navigate the legal system, nor was she able to correctly draft temporary orders or a divorce decree. The temporary orders drafted by his staff were rejected by the judge repeatedly because they did not follow the judge's orders. Mr. Conner was nowhere to be found when I needed him. He quoted me $3500, and after paying $7000, I still did not have a signed decree. His staff repeatedly lied to me on the phone. I am extremely disappointed with his firm's representation and would not recommend him to anyone.

It always upsets me when I find out that a client was unhappy with the services of my law firm. We strive to give quality legal advice and fight hard to obtain our client's goals, even in the most difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, fighting in a courtroom if often unpredictable and some client's do not have realistic goals while suffering with drug or alcohol addiction. While we have helped countless people find the help that they need, and reunite families after rehabilitation, the truth is that Lawyers do not have magic powers that make bad facts, such as drug addiction, just disappear. If a client does not heed my advice, does not work with my staff to build a positive case for the Court, and refuses any attempt to cooperate, then I'm probably not the right lawyer for you.
