Biography
I am a Texas attorney focused on helping individuals and families plan for the future and handle important legal matters after a loved one passes away. My practice centers on estate planning, probate, and guardianships for clients in Dallas, Collin, Denton, and Rockwall Counties.
I work with clients to create practical estate plans that provide clarity and protection for the people they care about most. Estate planning can include wills, powers of attorney, medical directives, and trust-based planning when appropriate. My goal is to help clients put thoughtful plans in place so their families have clear guidance if something unexpected happens.
I also assist families with probate and estate administration after a loved one has passed away. The probate process can feel overwhelming, especially while grieving. I help executors, administrators, and family members move through the process efficiently while complying with Texas law so estates can be settled and responsibilities handled properly.
Another part of my practice involves guardianships for incapacitated adults. This can include elderly parents experiencing dementia or adults with disabilities who need someone legally authorized to help manage their personal or financial affairs. I work with families to determine whether guardianship is appropriate and guide them through the court process when it is necessary.

I earned my law degree from Texas A&M School of Law and have been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2003. I founded The Blacknall Firm to provide thoughtful legal services that help families plan ahead, protect loved ones, and handle important life transitions with clarity and support.
