I specifically searched on Google reviews for an estate planning law firm to handly my late husband's probate issues. Cary Estate Planning had good reviews, so I retained them. During the course of one year I learned that the reviews were perhaps too kind to the firm. I never felt they had my best i...nterests at heart with a lack of communication when I asked for information. In one instance, I sent an email and resent it twice before I received a very unsatisfactory response. I did not deal with Mr. Yokabitus personally as he is the managing partner, but when I emailed him with my concerns he never replied. He passed on my messages to the attorney in his firm who was handling my probate issues. I felt there was some resentment from her and her paralegals that I had contacted their boss. The matter has finally been settled with the probate court, but I paid them well over $5,000 for what I would term a less than stellar client relationship. I wish I had chosen another firm.

We have a special needs child and needed a special needs trust. We spoke with multiple attorneys and none could piece the complexity of this request to our satisfaction until we met Paul. Not only did he create a trust to meet our needs he also went above and beyond by first discussing & then adding... more protections that we never considered.
