Eric Mauro

Eric Mauro works with people who want to feel prepared, whether that means putting an estate plan in place, handling probate after a death in the family, or getting a small business on solid legal ground. He’s a U.S. Army veteran who served as a Cavalry Scout, and he brings that same steady, disciplined approach to his practice: figure out the mission, map out the steps, and get it done the right way. Eric helps clients draft wills and other planning documents, explains how probate works in plain language, and advises business owners on how to protect what they’re building. He’s not interested in confusing anyone with legal language and terminology or pushing paperwork across the desk; he takes the time to answer questions and make sure clients understand their options before they make decisions. Eric earned his B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas Woman’s University with a focus on Deaf Education, then earned his J.D. from Baylor Law School, where he received a distinction in Estate Planning. He later completed an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling with his wife, and spending weekends smoking barbecue.
