Biography
Brandy Alexander graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature from Florida State University after just three years of study. Thereafter, she went on to earn her Juris Doctor at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law where she focused her studies on Family Law and earned a Family Law Certificate for her commitment, dedication and diligence to the field and study of Family Law. While at the University of Florida, Brandy was an active member of the Trial Team, Black Law Student’s Association and she participated in the Family Law Clinic which provided invaluable courtroom experience to third year law students seeking to enter the field of Family Law.
Brandy is a passionate, skilled attorney licensed to practice law in both Florida and Georgia. She has practiced law for over a decade and began her career in indigent criminal defense work before broadening her legal expertise to include family law. Brandy has litigated more than 50 cases in both jury and non-jury trials. In 2013, Brandy was featured in an Emmy Nominated HBO documentary entitled Gideon’s Army which profiled some of her time as an Assistant Public Defender in Clayton County, Georgia and can now be found on Netflix. Brandy has appeared on the Melissa Harris-Perry Show and been the keynote speaker at a Conference for the National Association for Pre-Trial Services Agencies in Orlando, Florida and she has been a speaker at local high schools where she educates students on criminal justice and criminal procedure. Additionally, she has been featured in the Florida Bar News, Orlando Sentinel, and has appeared as a guest on NPR Saint Louis radio.
Moreover, Brandy is a member of the Board of Directors for Smart Girls on Campus, an organization whose mission is to encourage and inspire teen girls through challenging, innovative and relevant learning experiences. She also is on the 2016-2017 Juvenile Code Assessment Project and she is a member of the Women Leaders of the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Brandy has successfully represented clients in Family Law cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, contempt, modifications and more; and Criminal Law cases ranging from DUI and drug offenses to violent crimes including homicide. She is a litigator and she does not shy away from court or trial. Brandy is also a Guardian ad Litem and was recognized in 2016 as the Guardian of the Year by the Association of Volunteer Lawyer’s Foundation Atlanta. Her greatest accomplishment is being a mother. She is an active member of her community and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Failure to Follow Ethical and Contractual Standards in Family Evaluation

Incompetent
Deceitful. Seemingly nice at the beginning. Documents poorly and she does not care. This attorney creates fees and charges for her incompetence. Extremely unjust and only cares about herself. VERY NARCISSISTIC.
