Complicated client and case

I’m not an easy client and my case was anything but simple. Multiple firms turned me down because of how complicated it was, but Brian didn’t hesitate to take it on. He represented me through both my divorce and later, my child custody modification case. My situation involved multiple states, domesti...c violence, and numerous witnesses, yet Brian and his team guided me through every step with skill, compassion, and professionalism. He truly understood my situation and treated me and my daughter like we were his only clients. Brian was attentive, responsive, and always made sure I understood what was happening. His dedication and communication made an incredibly difficult process much easier to face. I’ll continue to use his services, and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend him. If you’re looking for an attorney who genuinely cares, fights for you, and knows how to navigate even the toughest cases Brian is the one you want in your corner.

Fantastic lawyer

Brain helped us with a restraining order. He was thorough, explained things to us and I'm proud to say the events unfolded as he had stated in his office. We will recommend Brian to our family and friends. Thank you Brian for everything!

My Knight In Shining Court Armor

Where do I begin? I originally hired Brian for a custody case that I was battling with my sons father. In the midst of that, I was suffering from domestic violence every day in my marriage and the violence was escalating. I realized one day that I was allowing this man to hurt, manipulate, and int...imidate me on an every day basis. We had no children together, no property, or real estate. I made a plan to leave and I left on 07/02/2020 with my son, my mothers ashes, and nothing else. I started completely over from scratch. I called Brian and advised him of what was going. I asked him to redirect his focus on getting me divorced as quickly as possible. After some questioning from Brian, he offered me some very helpful advice and started on my case. My paperwork for divorce was filed on 07/08/2020 and was finalized by Dallas County Judge on 10/20/2020 so a little over 3 months. Thank you to Brian and to Belle with all of my heart. I only wanted my last name back... and my freedom. Now I have both!

Excellent Attorney

I hired Brian one month before my trial and I was simply amazed at the way he handled my case in trial. His demeanor in court was extremely professional, calm and composed. He has a razor sharp memory and I must have given him millions of information in a span of 1 hour which he throughly remembered ...and brought up in the court. He is a very good attorney who actually cares for his clients. I am from Indian origin and was severely abused. Prior to Brian I had consulted various attorneys who didnt understand the abuse Indian men put their women through. Honestly few attorneys would ask revetting question about the abuse I went through. Talking to Brian was very refreshing..not only did he understand how painful my marriage was and how abuse for a long time alters your way of thinking but he went out of his way to be very respectful about it all. Brian...You are my hero and I truly respect you as an attorney.

It's not common to do a Jury trial in family law, but they do happen. It was great working with you to pick a jury and present your case. All the best!

Very Compassionate/Competent/Cost effective attorney

If you are going through a divorce, I wholeheartedly endorse Brian as the attorney on your side. I am from the Indian community and hired Brian to handle a divorce case which involved domestic violence. I had been separated from my husband for a year at the point he sprung a surprise on me and my... kids by sending someone to serve us the divorce papers during our festival season of Diwali. My kids and I were completely unprepared and flabbergasted. I have never been exposed to anything like this before and didn’t have the usual family and community support that people born here might have. I was totally alone dealing with this huge upheaval in our lives. I was also broken hearted knowing that my kids would now be getting on to a rough roller coaster ride which they didn’t ask for. I interviewed a few attorneys in a hurry and Brian was the most compassionate, competent and cost effective of the lot. He was referred to me by Hope’s Door, an organization that helps survivors of domestic violence. His first consult was totally free (meant a lot to a person like me working on a limited budget). He took the time to listen to my frustration with a man getting away with domestic violence. My ex had convinced me to sign a non prosecution affidavit in return for supporting us financially and still staying away from us. He, however, turned rogue on us as soon as his domestic violence case was dropped. He figured out that even after 29 years of marriage and domestic violence cases registered against him, Texas law (the most hare brained law I can even imagine!!), allows him to get away with barely any financial support for the spouse and very little for the kids. After 13 years of giving up my flourishing career to have and take care of my kids, I was expected to just turn on a dime and start supporting myself while handling the kids and fighting him in court!!! He would also get half of our assets (assets built mostly by me when I was working and earning). In addition he would be allowed to have the kids for half the time whether they want it or not (very disruptive and confusing for them). He was even claiming half of the inheritance money given to my kids by my mother!! Very very frustrating!!! Brian took the time to listen to me, was compassionate when I couldn’t hold back my tears and was very very supportive. He explained the law and its limitations in Texas. He also clearly explained to me how he plans to get me the best possible result within the legal constraints. I was convinced that he would stand by me and fight his hardest for me. He explained his fee structure very clearly too, so I would be prepared financially. He gave me all the needed paperwork and told me to go back and think about it and get back with him if I thought he could help me. No pressure tactics at all. I came back and hired him and it was the best decision I made. My ex had hired a much more expensive lawyer who turned out to be one of the most incompetent attorneys I have ever met. I almost felt sorry for my ex! At every point in the game, Brian was way ahead of her in thinking and planning. To make a long story short, my ex realized his mistake many thousands of dollars later and withdrew his case. We are still separated but for now, we are not fighting in the courts. Brian used my retainer only for what was needed and returned the unused money to me. He works by himself in a very modest office and does not waste your money on unnecessary overheads. I have already recommended Brian to a close friend having difficulties in her marriage. She came in for a consult and was very happy with him too. She is trying to salvage her marriage but if it ever gets unmanageable she knows who to call. Thank you very much Brian, for everything you did for me in a very difficult phase of my life. I am forever grateful to you.

"I am happy to endorse Brian Andrade. We were opposing counsel on a fairly contentious matter but Brian stayed cool and worked with me through the weekend before the final hearing as he was recent to this case. In the end, we both got our clients together right before the hearing and worked out a partial proposal and let the Judge do the rest. He was professional and courteous and exemplified the way an attorney should approach both his client and opposing counsel. I think that he has a bright future in the law."
