There is simply no one better in Collin County, Texas as a DWI defense attorney than Troy. He took every step to guide me through the most difficult time in my life. When trial started, it was obvious that Troy was in total command and he tore the prosecution's case to pieces. After trial, every member of the jury waited to speak to Troy and I and based on their comments, the DA never had a chance. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Troy!!!!!

Mr.Burleson kept me up to date on what was going on and spoke to me like he truly cared.I was 17 at the time and was very frighted about the possibility of going to jail, but Mr.Burleson promised me that would not happen and he kept his promise. It was a long process and alot of back and forth I even thought about giving up and just taking the plea but Troy didnt let me and good thing because I was found not guilty and he even offered to expunge this from my record for free.Cant get better than him.

My DUI case looked to be pretty cut-and-dry. I was pulled over for speeding, performed not particularly well on the field sobriety tests and blew well over the limit on the portable breathalyzer.
When I met with Troy and Hunter the first time, they were very honest and straightforward with me and said my odds of winning the case were not good...they gave me 30% chance. But I hired them because during that initial interview, they showed a clearly superior knowledge of DUI cases than the other two lawyers I spoke with.
They walked me through the whole process step-by-step and made me feel comfortable that everything would be taken care of with the best possible outcome. Given my circumstances, the best case scenario was still in all likelihood going to be a conviction, but hopefully with minimal fines and/or jail time.
The state made a plea offer a few weeks before trial and Troy again advised me that my chances of winning were not all that great and that the plea deal wasn't a bad one. I decided to go ahead and go to trial as I figured even a 30% chance of getting a not guilty verdict was better than the 0% chance of accepting the plea deal and punishments that (to me) weren't all that much reduced from the standard guilty verdict. Plus, I had a lot of confidence in Troy.
And that confidence turned out to be well-founded. Troy got the DA to agree to a bench trial rather than one by jury, which we both saw as an advantage for me. During the trial he rather brilliantly (yet respectfully) poked holes in the DA's case and the arresting officer's actions, which subsequently created a reasonable doubt in the judge's mind. Not guilty was the final verdict.
I would without a doubt recommend Troy to anyone else with a DUI arrest.
