Best DWI Lawyer in DFW
I was arrested and charged with DWI. It was going to make me lose my job and really hurt my family. Troy explained that based on his review of the evidence, I should fight my case and make the State prove I was guilty. After a long 2 day trial I was found not guilty! If it wasn't for Troy and Biderma...

They arrested me...took my blood by force...Troy got me a NOT GUILTY VERDICT!
I can't describe in words the humiliation I felt at being arrested, handcuffed and then having a needle forced into my arm and my blood drawn against my will. It was a horrible, dehumanizing experience that still brings tears to my eyes when I think about that aweful day. After diligent on-line res...

Unresponsive and Misleading
Troy Burleson is a extremely busy lawyer. I realize this is the case for many lawyers, but at the premium prices they charge I was expecting more. I was really disappointed in the fact that he said he felt I had a great case and that he would represent me, since he felt he was the best option. He th...
I was involved in a lengthy felony trial during this cent's trial. Had I known that this client was not comfortable with Hunter and Dan trying his/her case I would have done everything possible to get a continuance until I could have tried his/her case. I am truly sorry that this is how it worked out for this client and am not happy with this review.

Waste of $4,000!
This attorney did me absolutely no good. I paid $4,000 for him to represent me in a DWI case and the money was a complete waste. I would have got the same results if I would have simply got a court appointed attorney. Very misleading consultation and I very much regret my decision to trust this attor...
Client decided to plea guilty and not fight his case (which was our recommendation). He got the minimum punishment, MINIMUM PUNISHMENT, that the Collin County District Attorney's office gives for a second offense DWI. I can't, not can any defense attorney on this planet, do better that the minimum punishment the district attorney gives on a plea bargain if a client decides to plea guilty and not fight their case in a trial.

Not worth the money ($7,000)
I was under the impression I would be represented by Hunter since he did the initial consultation but after signing the contract Troy stepped in. I never spoke to Hunter again after that. Troy pushed to take to trial being very optimistic with being found not guilty giving me examples of cases simila...
The plea bargain that this client could have accepted before setting his/her case for trial was an $800 fine and 15 months probation. While on probation, this client would have had to pay monthly fees of about $100 per month, take a DWI education class, a victim impact class, a substance abuse evaluation, be subjected to random urinalysis, be prohibited from drinking any alcohol, complete 80 hours of community service, and to not leave the country or state. After setting the case for trial, the State lowered it's offer to 2 days in jail. In Collin County, 2 days in jail means you go to jail at 10:00 p.m on a friday and get out at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, So basically, 2 hours and 1 minute. I relayed this offer to the client when the State gave it to me. I DID NOT force the client to take the offer, To the contrary, I convinced the Judge (who is a very good Judge) to postpone my client"s trial for 7 days to allow my client to come into my office and discuss the new plea offer. This is highly unusual. Judges normally ask a defendant to take or reject the plea bargain when it is given but as I said, this is a very good Judge. The client made and appointment with my office to come in the next day and discuss the new plea deal BUT CALLED AND CANCELLED THE MEETING THE NEXT DAY stating that he/she wanted to accept the new plea deal and did not need a meeting. I then stood by the client as he/she plead guilty, and there were no complaints by the client! In addition, this was a DWI case with a blood score over the legal limit. In fact, it was almost twice the legal limit. The new plea of 2 days (or 2 hours and 1 minute) saved my client 5 to 7 thousand dollars and the hassell of dealing with a probation officer for the next year and a half. Finally, the client was given a choice on which attorney at our office would represent her/him in his.her trial. The client choose me to represent her /him because I have BY FAR the most trial experience in our firm. If she wanted Hunter, she could have easily chosen him.
"Troy is one of the top DWI Defense Attorneys in the DFW Metroplex. I wholeheartedly endorse Troy Burleson!"

"I have worked with Mr. Burleson for two years and prior to that I tried cases against him when I was a prosecutor in Collin County. He is highly regarded and respected by the legal community for his expertise, demeanor, and trial skills. Mr. Burleson has more trial experience than anyone I've met. Due to that wealth of experience, clients of Mr. Burleson receive the finest representation in the DFW area. If any member of my family were ever in legal trouble, I would advise them to call Mr. Burleson immediately. I strongly endorse this attorney."
"If you are looking one of the best DWI Trial Lawyers in North Texas then Troy's your man. Mr. Burleson’s trial skills and track record of Not Guilty verdicts have earned him many awards very few attorneys achieve. For these reasons I fully endorse Troy’s work."

"I personally endorse Troy Burleson. Troy worked with me for two years and he became an excellent trial attorney. He has taken what I have taught him to a whole new level. In my opinion he is one of the BEST DWI trial lawyers in Texas. He wins cases that others find unable to win. He relates well with jurors and knows the law that is needed for a successful trial. You can't go wrong choosing him as your lawyer."
"I endorse this lawyer. Troy is one of the best trial lawyers I know, and consistently produces great results for his clients."
"Troy is one of the best DWI trial lawyers in Texas. We have presented at DWI seminars and often confer on DWI-related issues in Texas. You can't go wrong hiring Troy."
"Troy's reputation for excellence in all phases of DUI/DWI practice is well deserved. He would be on the very very short list for alcohol related criminal charges for anyone "in the know" anywhere in North Texas. He is smart, hardworking, knowledgeable and truly cares about helping his clients improve their lives. I recommend Troy without any reservations. Lin McCraw"
"Troy is an amazing lawyer. I have seen him in court trying one DWI after another. Sometimes, two, three or four times a week. He not only connects with the jurors, he is able to work his magic and get acquittals like its the norm!!! If acquittals are in other counties, it might not be such an accomplishment, but in Collin County, all criminal defense lawyers agree, it is the most difficult county to get an acquittal. Yet, Troy manages that because he is a natural. Proud to know him and endorse him with no reserve."
"Troy is one of the best DWI trial lawyers in the State of Texas. He combines a good-ole boy charm with an encyclopedic knowledge of the law. He is a proven winner in the courtroom. I absolutely endorse his work."
"Mr. Burleson is regarded as one of the best trial lawyers in the State of Texas. Mr. Burleson routinely goes to trial more often in a year than most of his peers do in 10 year period. And that trial dedication to his clients shows through his frequent "not guilty" verdicts for his clients. Mr. Burleson is frequently sought out not only by prospective clients wanting representation, but also by other attorneys for his advice on how to fight criminal case."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have worked with Troy on cases in the past and I have found him to be an excellent attorney. I have no problems referring clients to Troy Burleson."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Burleson is a smart, clever and hard-working defense attorney. He does a wonderful job for his clients and gives them his all in preparing and trying every case he is asked to defend. His courtroom demeanor is excellent and he is admired by his piers. In addition, he has a success rate which is one of the best in north Texas."
