Biography
Former prosecuting attorney Doug Norwood has devoted his legal career to defending people of Northwest Arkansas against felonies, DWI's, drug charges, violent charges and all other criminal or traffic charges. He chose not to do bankruptcies, divorces, personal injury cases, etc. Over the last quarter of a century, he has hand-picked a team of top litigation attorneys who he leads. Mr. Norwood and his team have defended more than 30,000 criminal cases, including more than 9,000 DWI cases.
For over 5 years, Mr. Norwood has been nominated and voted by his peers as a "Superlawyer" for the Mid-South Region. In addition, on two occasions, he has been named by the Arkansas Times, as one of the "Best Criminal Law/DWI Lawyers in Arkansas." Mr. Norwood has also received the coveted Martindale-Hubbell AV-Rating, which sets him apart as one of the Preeminent Lawyers in his field of criminal defense and DWI law. He also was one of the founding members in establishing the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has served as the President of that association.

Completely Sureprised - Would give 20 stars if I could!
As a full time college student, I was worried I would not be able to afford an attorney to help me with my case; however, the price was well below my budget and the service I received was absolutely incredible. I was so stressed out and Norwood & Norwood completely took care of everything for me.

got a charge of driving with suspended license. the wonderful aternys at norwood offices got it droped. dint have to go to court, the fines were droped. all for a great fee.

The penalties for a 1st offense are up to 1 year in jail, up to $1300 in money and loss of your drivers license, as well as increased insurance premiums, etc. We work very hard for our clients and I am glad our hard work paid off for you.
