Biography
Former prosecuting attorney Doug Norwood has devoted his legal career to defending people of Northwest Arkansas against felonies, DWI's, drug charges, violent charges and all other criminal or traffic charges. He chose not to do bankruptcies, divorces, personal injury cases, etc. Over the last quarter of a century, he has hand-picked a team of top litigation attorneys who he leads. Mr. Norwood and his team have defended more than 30,000 criminal cases, including more than 9,000 DWI cases.
For over 5 years, Mr. Norwood has been nominated and voted by his peers as a "Superlawyer" for the Mid-South Region. In addition, on two occasions, he has been named by the Arkansas Times, as one of the "Best Criminal Law/DWI Lawyers in Arkansas." Mr. Norwood has also received the coveted Martindale-Hubbell AV-Rating, which sets him apart as one of the Preeminent Lawyers in his field of criminal defense and DWI law. He also was one of the founding members in establishing the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has served as the President of that association.

Drug charges dismissed.
Charges were dismissed due to great bargain set by lawyer. Was about to put a year of my life on hold because of charges and now I can move forward with my life. Was expecting the worst and got handed a second chance. Thanks!

Drug charges OFF MY RECORD,,,,
I was charged with having a pipe and a small bag of pot in my car. This was my second charge. Norwood and Norwood have been amazing!! They are very hard working and very honest. I highly recommend them.

DRUG CHARGE DISMISSED

DOUG IS AMAZING
I was in serious trouble and could have gone to prison. I didn't have to do any jail and they even got me a misdemeanor rather than a felony. I would absolutely recommend this firm.
