Whitney Marie Matney

I hired Whitney as lawyer/counsel. I don't feel like I was given any type of information that assisted in making the important decisions that need to be made during the divorce process. There were NO "what to look for" or "how to prepare for" pointers and I feel like Whitney was more worried about im...pressing my ex's lawyer (because she gets work from him) than doing anything to benefit me. I learned more about divorce in the prologue of a "how to" book after spending more than a few thousand dollars with Whitney. Waste of my time and money and I'll be paying for years now. I DO NOT RECOMMNEND.

I am so grateful I hired Whitney Matney for my recent legal issue. She talked to me personally and was honest from the beginning about the process. I appreciated this greatly as it eases stress, respected my time and limited the amount of money I needed to spend for my case. She told me what I could ...expect and I knew I could trust in that because of her expertise and experience. She helped an extremely difficult and heartbreaking situation be more tolerable and less stressful. My divorce was simple because of her and her office staff and it was completed in less than 60 days. This allowed me to move forward, maintain my work schedule and decreased stress on my family and children as well. She was flexible with how I could contact her and responded in a timely manner. I will recommend Whitney to any friends or family in need of an attorney.

I had a very ugly divorce. I had initially hired a different lawyer recommended by a friend, which ended up with some miscommunication and an unpleasant outcome. I was desperate to find somebody to represent me and Whitney took my case under her wing. Even after the divorce, I struggle with my ex and... she was there for me for advice. She gives you 100% of your time when you are with her, she makes sure you understand the process, and she doesn't sugar coat. I love that she is a shark and is really passionate about what she does. Her dedication to her client show and I wish I would have found her before all of this happened! If you are looking for somebody to hire, I would HIGHLY recommend Whitney! Not only is she AMAZING at what she does, she is super personable and very easy to talk and consult with, without being intimidated.
