John has B.B.A. degrees in Economics and Business Management from Washburn University (Topeka, KS), a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law, and a LL.M. from University College London (UCL). He is a member of the American, Kansas, and Missouri Bar Associations, and is a member in good standing of the Missouri (2012) and Kansas (2015) bars.
While in law school, John worked for a year as an intern to David J. Waxse, a Magistrate Judge for the United States District for the District of Kansas in Kansas City. While at UCL, he studied under Dr. Cheryl Thomas, a noted judical studies scholar, and wrote his dissertation on judicial analytics.
Prior to law school, John worked in both retail and food-service management, logistical operations, and human resources departments, and in a wide variety of environments including Fortune-500 companies, mid-sized firms, and small companies.
John is an Eagle Scout and native Kansan.
