Jorden J Ryan

Jorden Ryan represented me in my divorce in Jackson County, Missouri and I couldn't have been more pleased. He was very responsive in answering my questions and played "devils advocate" by throwing out the big "what if" questions making me take a step back and gain perspective when needed. He walked me through the process step by step and even made me laugh when all I wanted to do was cry! Meetings were scheduled and on time, documents were prepared, presented and filed on time, and no matter what he had going on, I always felt like a priority. I got Jorden's name from a friend of mine. When I contacted him, I was very stressed out and concerned about my future. Jorden eased my fears and worked out a strategy for my defense. Found Jorden under "Pro Bono" online. Pro Bono is free. I was told I needed to pay $500. in which I did. Jorden took the case on per his comment as "favor" Not! I was his 1st divorce case. Jorden was not prepared for this case, or for court questions or even filings that needed to be filed, or what to do after court. I recently found out from a DIVORCE laywer that in fact I could have appealed the decision. Within 30 days of the judges decision. Jorden fumbled the entire time at court. Jorden brought a family member to sit in the courtroom to watch & listen to help with this case. Several times Jorden consulted & asked him questions. As the family member he brought is a lawyer. Jorden asked the judge while I was on the stand in the middle of questions to consult with this family member outside the courtroom. Jorden would not let me talk or give facts on my case. That would have helped the out come for sure. I had to ask for a copy of the decree. I have also asked for the papers that was sent to the judge I have never received those papers either. Now I have $4800 to pay my ex husband. If I would have been allowed to talk I had already paid $2000. I would not recommend Jorden Ryan for anything. :(
