I operate a solo law practice in St. Louis (Chesterfield), Missouri. I concentrate my practice in appeals, estate planning and general business law. I also assist trial lawyers on a contract basis with legal research and trial briefs. I teach appellate advocacy as an adjunct faculty member for the moot court program at Saint Louis University School of Law. And I teach business law as part of the adjunct faculty at Maryville University. The most unique aspect of my practice is my commitment to preparing persuasive written briefs and oral arguments. Visit the Reported Cases section of my Company website () for a list of my successful appellate decisions. View my sample briefs and articles on JD Supra.

Dan was a great resource in a very complex case I handled. With the help of his meticulous research skills and insightful knowledge of case law I was able to obtain a favorable result for my client.
"I recently worked with Dan on a complicated appeal in a new area of the law for Dan. He quickly got up to speed and showed his expertise in masterfully drafting compelling legal arguments on appeal. I would use Dan for every must-win appeal."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have worked with Dan on many cases and have always been impressed by his legal knowledge and his knack for crafting a winning argument."
"Dan was instrumental in an appeal case I had a few years back. He saved me tons of time and potential embarrasement when it came to the nuances of appellate practice vs. circuit court. I would highly reccommend Dan."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have hired him before to write appeals in family law and he has been amazing. Of course, he has won every appeal I've hired him to write and argue, he is wonderful with the clients, charges a reasonable amount, files everything on time and keeps me in the loop. What could be better?! I highly recommend him to any attorney who needs help appealing a case. He's the best!! Marta Papa, divorce attorney, St. Louis, Mo. voted "best divorce lawyer " by peers for Missouri Lawyers Weekly."
"Dan is my "go to" appellate practice lawyer. We have worked on various appeals over the years, and he is simply excellent in his field."
"Dan is a first rate legal mind and is well versed on a number of legal matters, including business, appeals and estate planning. He and I worked at the same firm many years ago and subsequently we have worked on cases together from time to time. A few years back I asked Dan for representation and he is one of the only attorneys I would trust to do so."
"I have known Dan as a professional colleague for twelve years and he is one of the finest appellate and estate planning practitioners in Missouri."
"I endorse this lawyer. I needed Daniel Schramm to help one of my clients for Estate Planning work and he was there willing to help on a Friday afternoon after giving him only a minute’s notice. He is very intelligent, capable and one of the best Estate Planning lawyers I know."
