Biography
I limit my practice exclusively to family law, including pre-decree and post-decree matters regarding divorce, legal separation, paternity, domestic violence and orders of protection, property division, child support, maintenance, allocation of parenting time, allocation of parental responsibilities, allocation of college expenses, relocation, prenuptial agreements, and postnuptial agreements.
I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Political Science and Gender and Women's Studies, where I received the University Fellowship, Dean's Scholar Award, and Provost's Award for Graduate Research. I earned my J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law with a focus on Family Law, where I received CALI awards for the highest grade in Intensive Trial Advocacy, Legal Writing IV, and Mediation.
