For over ten years I have been going to the family court in Cook County regarding ongoing visitation interference. After my young child became severely ill, I dropped my petitions with the court, in good faith, hoping that we could care for him without the litigation. The whole ten years in litigation I was represented by the same law firm. After I dissolved my petition, I didn't remain in contact with my attorney's. My son was getting better day by day, year by year. Two years past by and I was blindsided by a erroneous emergency petition.
