Kimberly Jo Anderson

I owe Kimberly the world! I was going through a bad divorce in which my 9yr old daughter who is my life and world was taken away for leaving her home alone for a few hrs with the alarm on. Her dad called her cell and found out. She was taken away and put in her dads care who has a felony. I felt like... I had a part of my body stolen from me! Kimberly not only advised me of the steps to take (I.e counseling) to get her back, put it a good word in court but always called back right away when I would leave messages, listened to all my tears and frustrations and even helped recently move the dirovce process forward when my ex was failing to appear or respond to court orders. I swear she was heaven sent in my situation!

Ms. Anderson thoroughly explained all of the options for my divorce: what I was entitled to; how we would proceed and the range of likely outcomes. She encouraged me to ask questions. I felt that she was truly interested in me as a person and that I had someone on my side during a time of difficul...t transition. She made me feel part of a team during this process and that I was not helpless. I was completely satisfied with the outcome. I would and have recommended Ms Anderson to others going through a divorce.

A firm with about five or six attorneys made me believe that I would get the personal attention that my case deserved, and I was right. After hiring Kim, the process quickly got underway. Being the respondent in the case, I felt instinctively on the fence but never felt that I was ever in danger of getting burned. Thankfully, Kim was an aggressive and authoritative attorney in the courtroom. She helped ease my insecurities. Her knowledge and expertise flourished before the judge and my ex-wife’s attorney, who acted like a complete fool at times. I’ve heard of advocating for your client, but having never needed an attorney before my divorce, I sort of thought all lawyers were well-educated and professional, not this guy. Kim was an absolute ace, never breaking her composure once in front of the judge as my wife’s attorney repeatedly pushed one frivolous argument after the next. My bill was expected. I received an itemized summary of the work Kim and her associates had completed each month, and it wasn’t shocking by any means. It was appropriate. I knew going into the divorce that these thing weren’t cheap. I’m not part of the 1% of Americans that don’t have to worry about utility bills or paying a mortgage. My collar is blue, and I had a budget, thankfully, Kim’s office was able to work with me on that, and I greatly appreciated her for understanding. Yes, I would recommend Kim and her office any day of the week. The time I spent litigating my divorce was something I never want to experience again, but knowing that the person who represents you knows what they are doing, who cares about the outcome, and is willing to listen to what you have to say and adapt to your situation, is a worth investing in.
