Biography
Laura A. Holwell is the founding Partner of the Law Offices of Laura A. Holwell. Laura obtained her bachelor's degree in Finance and Business from Western Illinois in 1983. From there, Laura obtained her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois in 1987. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1988. Prior to opening her own practice, Laura practiced Insurance Defense for a premier Chicago-based law firm until 1995. Laura then began working as General Counsel to Safeway Insurance Company in 1995, and continued her position there until she opened her own practice in 2002.
