Biography
Janaan brings nearly 15 years of experience in the areas of criminal defense and civil rights law. Janaan's civil rights work focuses on protecting constitutional and statutorily protected rights ranging from First Amendment law to Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act and its federal counterpart, the Rehabiliatation Act section 504. In criminal defense, after working in the trial court and appellate levels, she now specifically focuses on helping people with criminal records use the tools available to remove those records of the past to help them meet their future goals.
