Mr. Leppard also serves as Chief Legal Officer to Blackwood International, LLC   a multi-national environmental engineering corporation, providing counsel in a variety of business matters, such as international negotiations, contracts and licensing matters.  Mr.  Leppard also serves as Chief Legal Officer at Avidelity, LLC, a real estate investment firm, and is licensed to sell real estate in Florida.  

Mr. Leppard graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a  B.S. in political science with a business minor.  He attended law school at Florida State University, where he earned a coveted position as an Editor on the prestigious Florida State Law Review and graduated magna cum laude.   Mr. Leppard was selected for the elite Order of the Coif, reserved for the top 10 percent of law graduates from the top law schools.

Prior to the practice of law, Mr. Leppard taught high school economics, law studies and humanities at Timber Creek High School in Orlando.  At TCHS, Mr. Leppard founded the charter chapter of the Future Lawyers of America and was named “Favorite Teacher” by the senior class.

 

Mr. Leppard is a long-time Florida resident, moving to Orlando with his family in 1990.  Joel Leppard went to elementary, middle and high school in Orlando, graduating from University High School.  In his spare time, Mr. Leppard is an avid music aficionado and music producer.

Best lawyer by far in central florida
WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST ATTORNEY IN ALL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA.. Let's get one thing clear first. I'm your typical average 39 year old guy with a job and a family I just happen to like to party like a lot of us do. I'm writing this review not because I was made to or because I felt like I had to, I'm writing it because the man deserves it. That man being Attorney Joel Leppard. Well about what happened So I made a mistake and got hooked on a stupid drug that I hope none of you ever try like I did. Heroin. Yes very addictive and controls your life and causes you to do stupid things. Well to cut to the chase I got busted driving with a pretty good amount of heroin on me. I had a pretty clean record up to this point but made a huge mistake and ended up getting charged with a felony or possession of heroin and a misdemeanor for paraphernalia. I was scared. Thought I was gonna lose everything. Didn't know what to do. Should I just plead guilty. Should I pay the money and get a lawyer. I thought what for. I'm gonna lose anyway. I mean I admitted the drugs were mine. Well I decided I mimeswell open my laptop and call some drug lawyers. See what they say. Well I talked to a few, a bunch actually. Nobody really gave me any assurance that they could get me off. Nobody I think really thought I had a case. That is until I called this guy called the Leopard. Right away he told me I think we got a good case. I said what you mean a good case. He said I think we got a good shot at getting this thing dropped. I shook my head in the other end of the phone thinking yeah right. But he was only one that gave me any hope so I decided to pay him and prayed he was as good as what other people wrote about him. He kept me updated throughout the case. I never met the guy. And I never had to go to a single court case. He calls me exactly two weeks before the big day and said chris I got good news. I got your case dropped. You don't have to go to court, you will have nothing on your record, and you owe no more money. I broke down in tears of joy. I will always know one of the best decisions I made was the day I picked up the phone and gave him a call. He is no joke. He is the best out there. If you want an attorney that is absolutley amazing look no other than this guy the Leppard Law. Five starts, 2 thumbs up, without a doubt look no further.

The Best DUI Defender Hands Down
When you are arrested for DUI your USPS mailbox will be flooded with mailings from attorneys offering their services. I did not receive on from Joel Leppard. The best in the business does not need to send such advertisements. Are all those five star reviews he has real? I am here to tell you they are and then some. I am an attorney myself, practicing law is complicated and your best course of action is to go with an attorney that specializes in your problem. For me it was my son’s DUI Arrest while he was on probation. I hired him on my son’s behalf based on his reputation and reviews and am glad i did. Without going into specifics, the case did not get prosecuted based on the excellent strategy employed by Joel. He is an expert in DUI defense, DUI science and he is an excellent and aggressive trial tactician. He may not be the cheapest but his one time charge covers your case in its entirety and The old adage comes to mind you get what you pay for. The State of Florida has a high burden to meet to convict you of DUI and Joel will be there to hold them to that standard throughout the case. I am so glad i hired him and am extremely satisfied with the results of the case, criminal charges were dropped.

Dui on a family vacation
I was on vacation in Orlando and got pulled over on the highway. I felt that the police didn't follow the correct procedures. Had also no reason to pull me over in the first place. So after the arrest I contacted Joel Leppard and hired him. Joel is extremely knowledgeable in the laws of Florida. He looked into the reasons why I was pulled over in the first place. Joel was extraordinary in this case. I am also from out of state. He got my appearances in court waived. He found and had solid evidence of improper procedures. Again being out of state I don't know the laws. Joel ended up getting my case dismissed!! Even though, a criminal history of over a decade ago popped up and it wasn't possible for me to get the case dismissed. Joel worked so hard into this case and managed because of his knowledge and professionalism he overcame every objective in his way and didn't give up. He kept in touch with me even being 2000 miles away. Leppard Law is worth every cent. They seriously have the best attorney's in Orlando. Thank You for working so hard for me. Best DUI and traffic defense attorney
There is a difference being able to afford a great defense and also being fortunate enough to actually have one because even when you can afford one, sometimes the outcome you get isn't what you actually was expecting. Leppard Law saved my life. Second DUI completely reduced to reckless driving. With no harm to my driver's license. To say this lawfirm is the best I have dealt with is an understatement. I will retain their services anytime I ever should need one in the future.

Fast and Responsive Attorney
I called Joel on a Saturday to discuss my case. I had purchased a car from a dealer that turned out to be stolen, much to my surprise. Joel called me back same day, and told me he would contact the police department. A few days later, he called back stating that the police had agreed to remove the car's listing as stolen, and that the case was a civil matter. Joel was expertly able to navigate my situation and take control of it fast. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Above & Beyond My Expections
BLUF - THERE'S NO OTHER CHOICE HERE! READ below if you are in a bind for a spectacular DUI Attorney Team. Joel and his Team (Especially Carmen - She is Crazy on the ball) met with me and I immediately knew that these were folks that were hungry and passionate about what they do. This was my 2nd DUI arrest in less than 2 years and I figured I'd be up the river but Joel went to the DMV hearing for me and Carmen found a tiny glitch in the notarized documents that rendered them unusable and we won that case (Which is almost unheard of) - Suspension dropped. After some back and forth with the ADA, Joel leveraged his commanding prowess to broker a great deal for me which minimized my fines to less than $500, a trip back to the FL Safety Council for Level 2 education and at the end of the day, he rewarded me with a refund of a couple of thousand dollars as he did such a spectacular job with my case, I think he even astonished himself. There's no one better in Orange County Florida by far.

Joel Leppard goes above and beyond, Amazing at what he does
Joel and his team were extremely helpful with my case, if it wasn't for him I would not have been as fortunate with the outcome of my case. Joel always kept me informed with what was going on and made me feel comfortable given the uncomfortable circumstance of needed legal help. Even though Joel has specialized in DUI law, I was thoroughly impressed when asking him legal advice on a non DUI subject which I thought would be a quick answer ended up being a 15 minute conversation which made me more informed on the subject. I cannot speak highly enough, of Mr leppard and his team
Mr. Leppard and his team were able to get me plea deal for a second time dui. I was facing up to 9 months in jail and 5 year license suspension, due to the circumstances of the case. With the plea he was able to get for me, I faced no jail time and only 6 months license supsension. Without him I would have lost everything. Him and his team could have not been anymore professional, understanding, or caring. I would not hesitate to recommend or use his services again. Joel without a doubt lived up to his reputation and beyond.

My case was dropped!!
I still can’t believe Joel got my case dismissed!! I had almost a perfect driving record prior to my DUI arrest. One night after driving home from a dinner with friend’s I was involved in an accident, it wasn’t my fault and I found myself in a situation I had never dreamed to be in. It was scary and I had little knowledge of what to do or who to speak with for help. I immediately started researching attorney’s and, after speaking to many different law offices, the moment I had my first conversation with Joel I knew he believed in me 100% and would fight for my case better than anyone else. He was aggressive and worked relentlessly on my case. I never doubted that he would get me the best possible outcome and I wasn’t wrong. My case was DISMISSED, we never even went to trial and I got the entire incident ERASED from my record. The entire experience was grueling and stressful but Joel always had confidence in our strategy and was ready to fight for me every step of the way. I never imagined that my case would be dismissed but what Joel was able to do was nothing short of a miracle. Like I said, I still can’t believe I’m writing this review having never gone to court and my case dropped!!

I've just started working with Joel since late September but he has been professional, understanding, and very supportive. I have a hard time with giving control of my future away but I feel like I am in good hands. I feel I made the right choice in changing my attorney early, even though it cost me a little more money. If you want the best chance of success in your case, you need to call Joel.... preferable after he finishes mine though :)
