The senior attorney who handled my divorce several years ago added Anique Drouin to my case to help with a recent child support issue. This saved me money and introduced me to a female attorney who I trust and admire.
Anique was professional, worked as quickly as possible, and gave excellent advice. Even better, she was "real," focusing not just on legal and financial ramifications, but also on how any given action might influence the ongoing relationship with my ex-spouse. At every turn, I knew her primary interests were achieving justice and ensuring that my children receive proper care and support.
Anique was diligent in finding and interpreting the facts of my case. She brainstormed with me about creative options for reaching an agreement. She even observed body language (of both a judge and my ex-spouse) and factored that information into our approach to reaching a resolution.
Should the need arise, I will turn to Anique again in the future. I recommend her highly.

Anique has the unique ability to listen with compassion & understanding yet in the courtroom is tenacious with composure.
She has represented me twice; first in 2013 with my divorce after 32 years of marriage and then again in 2015 when my ex-husband petitioned to end my maintenance. Both cases with successful outcomes for me.
Anique asks questions to understand the situation, discusses strategy & pulls case law that is applicable. She is responsive, knowledgeable, ethical, honest & straight forward in her legal advice/counseling.
Anique works very hard for the best possible outcome and is brilliant in court.
I highly recommend Anique Drouin and the law firm of Sullivan, Taylor & Gumina.

Anique is a tough lawyer. She stood up to the craziness of my former spouse without waivering. She gave me the opportunity to work on aspects of my paperwork to save my retainer, which helps with a kid in college. She is very responsive via email and phone. She answers all questions based on current practices in DuPage Cook. That was helpful since I live in Cook County.
I did have any disagreements or problems with her. She spoke to my former spouses attorney and negoitated a fair settlement. She really looked out for my best interest, and I felt confident with her representing me. She never went against my wishes, and she understood my emotional state as I worked to end my marriage. Her advice was valuable and saved me time and money.
Her paralegals were also very helpful and nice. My divorce was final in five months, which eliminated stress from my life. She was respectful of my family issues and worked around my schedule. I would hire her again if I ever needed a family lawyer.

I have known Anique for several years, and have litigated against her. Anique is a hard-working and effective advocate for her clients. She takes reasonable positions and negotiates in good faith to avoid unnecessary litigation. When litigation is necessary, she cogently presents evidence and arguments on behalf of her clients.

Anique is knowledgeable, professional and hard-working. I am impressed by her ability to settle challenging cases when it's in her client's best interests, but also standing her ground and effectively advocating (and litigating) when needed. I would definitely recommend her for all family law related needs.
