I have known Henry for years and recently decided to retain his legal services. I trust Henry and have never had such a positive experience working with an attorney. I had spoken to Henry on multiple occasions over the span of several years regarding child visitation and support issues. He would provide me with quick insight and suggestions that were immediately effective, but never charged me. Problems compounded over the years that resulted in my desire to take legal action. Henry has always been very thorough, insightful, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. As a single parent, he was incredibly generous to provide me with free advice, before I decided to retain him for services. Throughout the entire ordeal, he was incredibly careful with any actions knowing what a struggle it would be for me to pay for services. I worked closely with Henry as well as his associate over the span of several weeks and I was very impressed with the prompt response times and the clarity in understanding their recommendations to my questions. My family’s needs were perfectly articulated into court documents and I am extremely satisfied with the service & results when considering the cost. I would definitely hire Henry again for future legal services and recommend him without hesitation.

I hired Henry for a simple post decree child support issue. Henry was extremely knowledgeable, however, so much money was wasted contacting opposing counsel needlessly and appearing in court with no results. I wished he would have been more strategic and careful with the time spent on this case. The end result was good, however, it was hardly worth it once I added up the thousands of dollars spent on needless communications.

My daughter, who has never been in trouble, found herself in potentially serious trouble with significant consequences that would carry with them strong negative impact. I am no helicopter parent but in this case we did not believe justice was being served so we recognized the need for an attorney.
I talked to around ten lawyers, and Henry was the one that stood out. He was confident but did not talk down, he listened, and he offered advice. Based on that we hired him.
The experience was exceptional. It was evident that he has a deep understanding of the system, he is respected by the people within the system (including the prosecutors he goes up against), and he knows what is black & white and what is grey. The way he navigated the grey area was masterful. He managed the process and made the scary consequences go away. I hope I never have to but I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
Henry is known for his thorough preparation and courtroom skills. Most recently, he served as a Guardian ad litem in one of my custody cases. He did a great job with a difficult case. Ultimately, the parties accepted Henry's recommendations and settled, thus avoiding the huge expense of going to trial. Henry and I also served together on the DuPage County Bar Association's Judiciary Committee, which investigates, interviews, and rates judicial candidates. Henry always did his homework and gave thoughtful comments. Again, he showed the seriousness he brings to every task.
