I am incredibly happy with the legal services I received from Stephanie Tang at Kogut & Wilson. Stephanie was compassionate, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. While I am sure Stephanie managed more than one case at a time, I always felt like a priority. Stephanie was impressively prepared..., responsive, and up to date with every detail of my case even though there were lulls in activity as we waited for the other party. I was treated with respect and care. I felt like Stephanie and Kogut & Wilson were considerate of my expenses and worked efficiently to reduce costs. I highly recommend working with Stephanie Tang and Kogut & Wilson.

I felt Stephanie was patient and competent and felt comfortable working with her directly. I was surprised to be charged more than my retainer based on the amount of work that was done/communication that was had but that was fine. Ultimately, I was most uncomfortable with my experience during the act...ual signing of the prenup. I hate to put the blame all on her because there was another lawyer from another firm involved, but I felt that I was made to feel very uncomfortable with how I was addressed and treated. My partner was appropriately referred to by his professional title and stated his profession multiple times, but I was never asked to state my profession nor my title. I didn’t appreciate being made to feel as though my salary and my work was less significant. For a room full of women, I was really surprised how I was treated. I wanted a prenup just as much as my partner, and regardless of our jobs/titles I deserve the same amount of respect as he was shown. Really disappointed with the in person portion of this experience, and wish I didn’t have to feel so uncomfortable in preparation for our marriage.

Stephanie was truly a gem to work with throughout the messy and needlessly complicated divorce process. Although my (now ex!) partner and I decided to go pro se, the convoluted process of knowing which documents to draft, how to file, and who to email what to, was too much for my non-legally trained ...mind to handle. Stephanie made it extremely simple by drafting the documents and sending a checklist of what to file and when. I highly recommend her services.
