Reduced my charges in DUI x3 case; helped me move forward!

Mr. Novak was extremely professional throughout my case, which happened to be my third DUI in less than a decade. I was facing many years in the state prison system on a Class 2 Felony. He was able to reduce the charge to Aggravated Driving Under the Influence, a Class 4 Felony. Among the terms of my... plea deal, I have 24 months of probation with 180 days of electronic home monitoring (EHM), public service requirements, and fines/fees. This was a really good outcome for me compared to the alternative of spending time behind bars. To get the felony reduced to the least severe felony charge took work and patience on both the part of Mr. Novak and me. He guided me through what I needed to do not only for my criminal case, but also with what I needed to do to help myself through my battle with alcohol. This included me getting immediately into treatment. Based on my substance abuse situation I entered a 75-hour outpatient program. Some people may need to enter in-patient (residential) treatment for 28 days or more, but my specific situation required outpatient help. Besides the treatment, Mr. Novak highly encouraged that I become involved with a support group and obtain a sponsor. For me, Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) was that group and I have had a sponsor for several months and have remained sober by being active in the program and with my sponsor. For Mr. Novak to be able to provide the best possible outcome in your case requires time. Expect the time between the incident (arrest) and the final terms of sentencing/probation to be many months. My case took 9 months and 10 court appearances to reach the final plea. In that time I was able to get back on track with completing the 75-hour outpatient program, a 6-month aftercare program, successfully hired with a company in which I am still employed, and am remaining sober. I highly recommend the services of Mr. Novak. If you get into a DUI situation, he is the attorney to use to help you move forward with your case and your life.

Dah man !!!!

I was looking 4 an attorney in the court house. The police showed up on time as they normally allways do, I was in a fix. I asked the judge for more time and he gave me my request. As I was leaving the court I then ask the bailiff in the court house who is the best attorney in lake county that wins... and dont lose.. He told me look at I win dui and talk with jerry. I have 3 tickets and this is how i feel. first we won the stanley cup on ticket two we won the Nba final. on ticket 3 we won the world series!! I am happy jerry represented me in court! He is a winner as he advertise. Anthony

Speeding ticket

Due to me being a care giver to my husband , I was unable to be present for my court date for a speeding ticket. Mr Novak was kind enough to represent me and help me in a timely manner. The office,and specifically Nicole were so much help,reminded me about the affidavit, and Mr Novak was truly ...concerned to land a helping hand in my unfortunate situation. A truly 5 star Attorney!
