Motion to U.S. Embassy to reconsider and vacate inadmissibility found under INA 212(a)(6)(C)(i)

I haven’t written any review for anyone in my life yet, but I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dyan for her wonderful support throughout in overcoming 212(a)(6)(C)(i). I almost consulted around 10-15 lawyers and paid few thousands altogether to understand the situation and my next availab...le options. The U.S. Embassy found me inadmissible, in error, under 212(a)(6)(C)(i). and I was seeking for a genuine attorney who can help me with overcoming my inadmissibility. After having an initial consolation with Dyan for 45 mins, she heard the story and advised me to go for both Option-A to file a motion to US Embassy to reconsider & vacate I-212 bar which embassy made in error & as a backup Option-B as an alternative to file a 212(d)(3) waiver. Throughout our journey with Dyan, she was available and patient enough to answer out concerns via email. She guided us in preparing our affidavits and gathering documents to support the motion to reconsider. The legal memorandum was very robust with covering all aspects of inadmissibility. Due to the Covid pandemic it took a while for the embassy to vacate the admissibility and they granted my visa. Dyan has provided me something which I never thought that it was practically possible as I had made an extensive research and asked few senior lawyers about the possibility in my case. My consultation with her was a life changing advice that I received from a future standpoint. Thank you all so much for your guidance, time, effort and help, I truly appreciate it. I recommend the Dyan Williams law Firm for anyone who needs assistance in any area of immigration.

A True Champion in Navigating 212(d)(3) Waiver Cases and Any Immigration Matters

I’m absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to share my experience working with Dyan on my 212(d)(3) waiver case and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of intricate immigration issues or any other immigration-related matters. My husband and I came across her website during our e...xtensive online research after an unexpected immigration curveball that left us in an utterly confused and anxious state. Hiring her was possibly the best decision we could have ever made. From the very beginning, it was evident that Dyan possesses an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience in immigration law, especially complex cases. Her dedication, professionalism, and compassion throughout the process truly set her apart as a top-notch immigration attorney. Navigating the intricacies of a 212(d)(3) waiver case can be a daunting task, and it requires the expertise of a seasoned legal professional. Dyan immediately put my mind at ease by demonstrating a deep understanding of the complexities of the case. She meticulously evaluated every aspect of my situation and provided a comprehensive, tailored strategy, roadmap and guidance on how to best prepare my affidavit and supporting documents that not only gave me confidence and reassurance, but led to the speedy approval of my case.   Throughout the entire process, Dyan was incredibly attentive and responsive, making it a priority to keep me well informed and involved. Her exceptional communication skills ensured that I never felt left in the dark or uncertain about any aspect of my case. In addition to her legal prowess, Dyan exhibited an unwavering commitment to ensuring my application was as strong as possible in a timely manner. When it comes to preparing the pivotal legal briefs and discussions, she treasured my voice and storytelling and masterfully combined legal discussion with my personal touch. I still remember how convinced and impressed I was after reading the legal memo draft along with our affidavits that were meticulously prepared and revised by Dyan for the first time. Her empathetic and going-above-and-beyond approach also demonstrated a genuine concern for my well-being and a commitment to securing the best possible outcome for me. During the preparation process, it’s worth noting that Dyan was dealing with some extremely difficult and devastating family news, and yet she constantly kept my timeline (and all of her clients’ needs) in her mind and made exceptional progress throughout, which ultimately led to my waiver being approved successfully and smoothly within a few weeks and me reuniting with my loving husband in the US after a year of living apart. The successful result of my 212(d)(3) waiver is undoubtedly a testament to Dyan s relentless advocacy and exceptional legal expertise. I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend Dyan to anyone with immigration needs. Her unwavering dedication, vast knowledge, and compassionate approach make her an invaluable asset to anyone navigating the complex realm of immigration law. With Dyan by your side, you can trust that you are in the most capable and skilled hands.

H1B Visa Renewal Issue (221 (g)) At U.S. Consulate

I contacted and hired Dyan Williams in Nov 2019 to overcome delays from administrative processing 221(g) of my H1B visa renewal at the U.S. Consulate in Chennai, India. The administrative processing was related to a dismissed criminal case arising from a false police report filed by an ex-girlfriend.... The indefinite delay and uncertainty really took a toll on my mental state since everything that I had worked tirelessly were in jeopardy. Dyan provided me with the right consultation, reviewed all the documents, and submitted a legal analysis demonstrating that there were no grounds for crime-related inadmissibility and continued administrative processing was unnecessary. She was very efficient and had a thorough understanding of the immigration system. Her legal expertise and professionalism were the keys to the success of my case. Within 2.5 weeks, the consulate completed the administrative processing and issued the H1B visa! She always responded promptly and answered all questions. I am very happy to recommend Dyan Williams Law for any immigration needs.

Approved waiver 212(d)(3)

Thanks to Dyan Williams for assisting me with getting my waiver 212(d)(3) a couple of months ago in 2021. I was convicted on a charge of possession of 19 grams of cannabis in 2003 in South Africa and therefore I was inadmissible/barred from entering the United States. My husband was offered a tran...sfer to the US at the end of 2019 which was very exciting, until I remembered I had this conviction against my name. It felt like my world had crumbled into tiny pieces reliving this event in my mind over and over again wishing it never happened. It had to be one of the worst feelings in the world until I stumbled on Dyans details online giving some light of hope. Go have a look at her reviews. The woman is incredibly talented and is so devoted to her work and skill. After our first skype call we knew we were in good hands and felt more confident and assured that my waiver might be approved. Any questions we had over email, Dyan responded quickly with precise and clear information. This was before we decided to hire her. Unfortunately it took about 2 years before I got to have my official Visa appointment due to the original Lockdown and Covid closing the embassies. Every appointment would get canceled/ postponed. Dyan had so much patience during this time and never forgot my case even though there were months she never heard from me. Eventually my husband got an expedited Visa Appointment which got approved and we were given very little time to update and be ready for my waiver request. Dyan was a miracle worker and made the time to help even though I knew she was busy with other intricate cases and family life as she is a mother as well. She has a certain nurturing way about her and sometimes you need that when you are fearful that the consular officers may be cold and harsh. I ended up being extremely well prepared for this interview thanks to Dyans guidance which allowed me to feel confident during the interview, where the consular officer did make a recommendation that I get my waiver. A few weeks later the waiver was approved and we are now in the United States.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
