Adam T. Johnson

I never needed a lawyer before. Adam Johnson was highly recommended to me by a family friend, I'm so happy he did. Adam was always very friendly and was available to answer my questions no matter the time or day of the week. The work he put in to my case went far above and beyond what I ever expected.... He achieved the best possible outcome for my case, I didn't have much hope that could happen. He was amazing to watch in court, a true Pro. In may of 2015 I was arrested and charged with multiple felonies after being attacked in my home and ultimately having to use a handgun to defend myself. These included attempted murder, first degree assault, second degree assault and fifth degree drug possession. Prior to being arrested I had never ...had any encounters with the law or need for an attorney. I cannot imagine going through what I went through with anyone other than Adam representing me, he was able to make a terrifying experience much less so and gave me the confidence to go on with regular day to day life, work, and caring for my family without losing hope. With Adam at our side my family and I never lost sight of the light at the end of the tunnel and never doubted that with his representation everything would be resolved without me spending years behind bars. Adam worked tirelessly night and day for over a year and a half with my well being always foremost on his mind. Never did he treat me or make me feel as if I were only a paycheck to him and indeed when my case was resolved I felt more as if he was a friend than just an attorney I had hired to represent me in a difficult time. He even went so far as to find a bail bondsman that would work with me and take payments on the full bond amount so I could be released from jail and able to work and provide for my family as money became tight. In addition while I was incarcerated he came to visit me in jail not as an attorney but as a friend to make sure I was doing alright. I cannot imagine a better attorney and I definitely know that I owe my freedom to Adam and his firm as I don't think anyone else would have worked as hard as he did. He even went so far as to provide me with a private investigator that I hired who did much of the legwork required to prove my innocence and ultimately resolve my case. After over a year and a half of dealing with the courts Adam was able to convince the courts of my innocence through his vast knowledge of the law and the evidence at hand and the attempted murder and first and second degree assault charges were dropped and I agreed to plead guilty to the fifth degree drug charge and a failure to render aid charge. He was able to turn a situation that could have meant years of my life in prison into a mere 150 days in jail and five years of probation. Adam is not only an excellent attorney but an excellent person as well and I strongly encourage anyone needing legal aid to retain Adam to represent them as they will not be disappointed in him or his abilities. In fact throughout much of my case it seemed as though Adam had a wider and more extensive knowledge of not only the facts and evidence of my case but just the law in general than either the prosecuting attorney or the judge himself. Never have I met a person who worked so hard at their job while working even harder to recognize you as a person and not only a client or number or statistic.
