Landon Ascheman is licensed to practice law in Minnesota. He concentrates mainly in the areas of Criminal Defense and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Landon graduated from Minnesota State University of Moorhead in 2006, with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He received his Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law, in May 2009.

Before co-founding Ascheman & Smith, now Ascheman Law, Landon was a certified student attorney in the Hennepin County Attorney's Office. He worked with many divisions, including: Adult Violent Crimes; Juvenile; Drug and Property; and the Domestic Abuse Service Center. While working for Hennepin County, Landon appeared on behalf of the state in hundreds of cases. He preformed extensive work in the areas of DWI and Domestic Assault. Landon was also a certified student attorney for the Kandiyohi County Attorney's Office, and the St. Louis Park City Attorney.

Prior to entering the legal world, Landon was an Intelligence Specialist for the U.S. Navy and the Minnesota Army National Guard. He is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan.

fantastic and professional

Landon was very through when it came to my case. I had a hard case at was very emotional and embarrassing for me. He took the time to lay every thing out in plain language. Exceptional lawyer

After consulting with multiple lawyers for my case, I chose Landon because he was honest with me and I just knew he’d be a great lawyer. 10/10 would recommend

Landon was prompt, respectful, honest, and knows his way around a courtroom. My situation was stressful, but Landon was able to calmly explain my situation, and lay out my options very thoroughly to help me make the most sensible decision for myself. I got a DUI almost two years ago, and I still feel compelled to finally write a review because I believe his guidance in that situation helped me moved toward where I am now.

A Lawyer's Point of View

I'm an ethics lawyer in Texas with a son attending college in Minneapolis. After my son was wrongly cited for not wearing a seat belt, I wanted to know how to fight the ticket. First Choice

Respectful

I was arrested for DWI, and Mr. Ascheman was thorough, respectful, and explained much options to me in a way I understood and could use. I was delighted that he fought for my rights and knew when we were offered a gold deal, judge, etc. I would highly recommend him.

Great attorney that gets the job done.

Landon is a professional attorney that truly has the best interest of his clients. He has given me advise in many situations and doesn’t charge unless there is something he can do. He will review your case and let you know if he can help if not there is no charge. He is an attorney that will be honest with you and will only charge if he thinks he can help benefit your case. He is extremely professional and has a lot of experience in his field. Landon has represented me in a couple of cases and he always gets the job done. Thanks to him my life has continue like normal with no sudden changes because his experience and work ethic. I have already recommended him to my friends that needed legal representation. Would recommend Landon to anyone.

Landon represented my son in a felony case, he was 18 at the time. He wanted to make sure that he did not have to deal with the felony in the future, so he made sure that he went the proper route to make sure that didnt happen. He was successful. He was always on time, and kept in constant contact with us the entire process, and was very professional and truthful about what our outcome was going to be. I would recommend him to anyone. MN DUI

Landon was very helpful in getting my DUI dropped down to a Careless Driving offense. He was very knowledgeable, he explained everything to great detail, and, most importantly, he guided me through my first legal "issue".

Dispute Resolution
