exceptional workers compensation lawyer

I suffered a work related injury which required surgery. My claim was denied by my employers insurance company. Frustrated & confused about the process to contest their ungrounded decision, I decided to research my options. I chose Mr. James Pitts because of his phenomenal reputation, great deal o...f integrity and that many people respect him. I am so grateful for all that you have done for me. Thank you so much for your dedication, advice and hard work! I appreciate all your insight & guidance but most importantly your great judgment and follow through. His paralegal, Amy, is not only extremely thorough and detail oriented but has excellent communication skills. Thank you for listening, researching and the many emails we exchanged. It was greatly appreciated. I was able to receive the medical treatment I needed and could dedicate my focus on healing my injury. I absolutely recommend him to guide you through this complex process!

Expert in dealing with large Corporation’s

Jim was referred to us by another lawyer who respected his work and his aggressiveness. I knew immediately after our first meeting, we had chosen the right person to represent us. Our son had an accident at work in which he never recovered. We asked Jim to get us answers and a fair settlement. ...Jim was patient with our questions, thoughtful and compassionate. He was aggressive in negotiations with opposing counsel. He helped us through a very difficult time and got us the answers we needed for closer.

Good attorneys are hard to find, but I found one!

Mr. Pitts was very tenacious in every aspect with my claim. The insurance company tried to "pull a fast one", but Mr. Pitts caught it right a way. He kept me informed every step of the way until completion of my claim. I would highly recommend Mr. Pitts to anyone in need of an attorney. He has a ve...ry friendly demeanor , and a wonderful sense of humor.

Keep searching. Not worth the stress.

I had a workman’s comp case with a major company and after doing a bit of research, I decided to go with him… after the initial meeting, it was really hard to get ahold of him. I would be the one to reach out and have to get updates after sending him requested information. There would never be any re...plies. Finally, when he did reply, it was extremely short. I had ENOUGH when I got a response asking for an update & he referenced another persons case followed by saying “there’s not more we can do since you were the one at fault.” ??? The case he was messaging me about involved a head on car accident when mine was a workman’s comp case??? I thought getting a lawyer was supposed to relieve stress, not cause more. I was doing all of the work myself and did not feel heard at all. Ended up having the case dropped and losing a lot of money.

  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
