Great experience

Crisis Averted, thanks to Mr. Eric Raskopf

I hired Mr. Eric Raskopf to help me thru a difficult (and wholly new to me) period, upon referral by my husband. Eric was able to reduce a criminal traffic charge to a civil forfeiture via negotiation, AND keep the charge from affecting my driver's license (and therefore my insurance). Hopefully I'll never need his services again, but I will definitely recommend him as he made this unknown process easier by describing everything and meeting up a few minutes before each scheduled court date. Thank you!!

Traffic Ticket

It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Raskopf. I hired him to defend a traffic ticket that my 16 year old daughter received. She is a new driver and was traveling much too fast in a 25 mile speed zone. Eric was able to get the speeding violation reduced to a minimum so that my daughter could keep her license. The thing that most impressed me about Eric was the fact that he answers his phone when you call him! Thanks for your great job Eric!

Excellent Experience

I consulted with Eric regarding my son’s moving violation in Milwaukee County. Eric explained the process and possible outcomes and ultimately I decided to hire him to represent my son. We agreed on a flat rate fee and when my son’s original court date was changed without notice Eric declined my offer to pay him for his time traveling to and from court. Eric was very responsive each time I called or emailed and was able to achieve the “best case” outcome for my son. I will not hesitate to hire Eric again!

Eric did a great job for us

Two of our drivers were pulled over in a truck enforcement sting operation. We were given tickets that were of questionable validity and resulted in criminal charges against our drivers. Eric was able to get the charges dropped against us as a company and reduced to a non criminal fine only charge for the drivers. Great Job Eric

Highly Recommend Eric Raskopf

When our son needed an attorney we retained Eric Raskopf due to his location and his Christian beliefs professed in his resume. We made the right choice. Excellent Results from Eric T. Raskopf

Our son came home from military service in Iraq with PTSD and a consequent drinking problem. He was arrested for DUI not once but three times over a period of 5 years. We hired Eric to handle all three cases. What was impressive was Eric was concerned for our son's well being as well as his legal outcome. When our son was arrested the third time, Eric was able to convince him to immediately go treatment which he has resisted prior. Eric even called while we were sitting there and talked the counselor into seeing him immediately. At that point forward our son was on the road to recovery. Eric always seemed to know when to go to court and when to delay and end result was our son underwent a few months of treatment before his case went for sentencing and he came out with a very good result under the circumstances. He is now finished with the legal system and has been sober for over a year. Eric really took the time to talk to him about possible outcomes and what he could do to improve his outcome and what he needed to do to not find himself in this situation again. Eric did not judge him but rather empathized and helped him. Our son was grateful for the outcome and we were pleased with Eric's guidance thru the process.

Traffic Violation Assistance

As a salesman driving a lot between meetings, "time is money" is accurate. The occasional need to exceed the speed limit results in violations. Eric was able to assist in having points on a recent violation reduced more than I could have done by appearing in court myself.

Caring attorney with a great moral compass

Back in 1999, I was charged for an offense that I am not proud of and I had to do a little time. Through it all, Eric was completely on my side even though he disagreed with the crime I committed (He has a great moral compass). He gave me a solid defense and had the original charges dismissed. I was recharged with another felony which he was able to get reduced to 3 misdemeanors. Believe me, considering the crime, this was no easy task. I listened as he gave my defense and after that, I even had a better opinion of myself. He was attentive, concerned about my well being and very responsive when called upon. I have used the experience to better my life and things are going great for me now all these years later. I would highly recommend Mr. Roskopf for anyone who makes a life error.......

Entreprenuer

Eric is the salt of the Earth. He has compassion, a great ear, and really cares about his clients. The main goal was reached. Small informative details a problem.

We hired Eric in a serious traffic case involving fleeing an officer. Eric was able to reduce the felony to a misdemeanor which we were very thankful for. Eric was a professional, prepared representative in court. His personality is approachable & likable. The only thing I would say was upsetting is he would advise what was going to happen and in a few instances was wrong or backtracked. Eric thought the 1st time offenders program would be the decision made by the DA. That is not what he received. Eric thought my son could keep his internship in MI - that is not what happened. Eric said 10 - 15 days Huber time - it was 30. Maybe we needed too much handholding but it was our 1st time dealing with this kind of violation and we were scared. The communication of the smaller details were our problem and things said that either were wrong or we had to find out the correct answer. Like I said at the beginning - Eric delivered the main goal which was the misdemeanor instead of the felony and that is what was most important.

Did nothing for my case

I hired Eric Raskopf for a case. He was hard to get in touch with, sometimes he would tell me that something fell through the cracks and did not discuss charges with the State. Would not hire him again.

Lazy, poor communication

We hired Eric to assist with reduction of a municipal ticket received by our son. The ticket was issued Jan. 2017. The court date came and went, and nothing happened. Each time we contacted him we got more excuses and no action. Finally, in November of 2017 we got an agreement-10 days past the date the new fine was due. There was actually a warrant out for our son's arrest! This is unacceptable. In retrospect, we should have just gone to court and took our chances with the judge. Probably would've have the same result with less headache.
