Emailed the 24 hour hotline for help with a divorce. I was given to Danni Harris who had only been with the firm one week. She was excited and told me all the things she could do for me. I learned she could no longer practice in the State of Texas. I was only able to get into see once and she spent t...he entire time typing the case information into her computer that I had already typed into the state's online system. She then charged $1500. I asked for itemization and got none. I called numerous times to see what she was doing on my case and she either didn't return call or had not had time to do anything yet. Fired her and asked for money back. No response. Wrote letter to Andrew Hope and explained the situation and told him I wanted money back and itemization. No response. I then contacted VISA and explained the situation. VISA returned my money and gave Hoper 45 days to appeal. On day 43 VISA received an appeal as Andrew Hope wanted his money back. I now have 15 days to appeal his appeal. In addition, last week I received a new bill now for $2676. I still have zero itemizations. I am presuming he added another $1176 to my bill because he had to file an appeal with VISA. This firm is as crooked as they come. I am now filing a complaint with Iowa State Bar Ass'n. I also checked the Better Business Bureau and see Hope Law Firm has a B- rating and Andrew Hope never responded to a past complaint there either.

We are almost done with the divorce process and I am happy I went in and met Andrew back in February, per referral from my sister. Good results and were able to settle things with ex' lawyer. Payment plan helped. There are two offices so if you go to see him make sure you verify which office locatio...n he will be at the day of your appointments-only complaint is I would get confused with where to go-but may have been my fault. The main office is in WDM by Jordan Creek but sometimes he is in the Ankeny one. People there are friendly.

Recently had Katie Naset handle a divorce and custody deal for me. Andrew first helped me and Katie jumped on and could not have been a better experience, for what I had to go through. I was referred to this firm by a work friend and glad they told me. They had my best interest in mind even when I tr...ied to not care about certain things. Looking back now I am glad they made me stick to my guns. Had a mentally abusive ex who tried to run the show and Katie would not allow it. She is great and everyone there. Would sometimes take 1-2 days for a response email so only reason I gave 4 out of 5 in response time- but it was fine. Thanks ! -Jess

Andrew was my attorney and also Charlotte. I thought divorce was going I be a very scary thing to go through but it was not so bad when I had these guys to help me. I was probably one of he most emotional customers ever but they are so down to earth and had a lot of sympathy, yet kept me on track to ...stay focused and they had my back. The ladies in the office are super nice, especially Alicia. Andrew seems very straight forward and Charlotte very empathetic. Good duo. If I wanted to complain and be mad at my ex and be reminded why I need to stick to my guns, I would ask to talk to Andrew. (They all call him Andy) and if I wanted to cry and pout I call Charlotte. Ha! Overall, very pleased and installments on retainer was helpful. Couldn't be happier with outcome.
