Extremely knowledgable, realistic, understanding and great to work with!

Katie was incredible during my divorce. She not only was extremely knowledgeable and experienced in all of the rules, regulations, past trials, and the overall system, but she was able to actually anticipate my ex-spouse's "next move" (him and his lawyer). Because of this, I felt we were always "one step ahead." I felt at the end of the day, what we both walked away with was completely fair. While divorce is far from a winning situation, I felt Katie helped make this a "win-win" for both sides. I had never been to a lawyer before Katie, but after working with her, I will definitely call her again if I need one in the future!

Thank you!

Before being referred to Katie, I had consulted with two lawyers and had essentially accepted that I would not be able to keep my children safe from my ex if I got divorced in the state of Iowa. Hard situation, easy process.

Hands down the best Attorney!

Difficult Custody Situation

An attorney has a difficult job. I will not pretend to understand all of the variables in which they have to navigate. What I can say is that Katie made sure we followed procedure and helped me understand the risks behind some decisions. I don’t know how things would have turned out if we had actually made it to trial. Fortunately we were able to avoid that at the eleventh hour. She also did a good job of balancing the costs with communicating and getting the job done. I can’t say for certain that my situation is final. There are unknowns that we had to take a chance on in order to reach an agreement that was best for the kids. If I need to go back to court, Katie will be my first call.

Professional, Responsive, and Caring.

Katie and Shelby did a wonderful job representing our daughter's case. Our daughter's divorce was a very complicated and challenging case. Throughout the divorce they always kept us informed on what was needed of us and made us feel relaxed and confident we would achieve the outcome we envisioned for our daughter. Katie and Shelby always handled the matter professionally and promptly. It was nice as they would respond to your calls and emails immediately. Both were also very compassionate as our daughter is suffering from a rare terminal disease and in the process, they were able for her to get as much visitation as possible with her kids which meant a lot to us. In fact, Katie will still check in to see how her visitations are going.

Excellent Family Law Attorney

My experience with Katie was excellent. She is knowledgeable about the divorce court proceedings and a skilled litigator. Very responsive in communication, if she was not available her outstanding paralegal Shelby Burns would be. Both were efficient and prices reasonable. Highly recommend.

Excellent Family Law Attorney

Katie Naset and her team are wonderful and the best. They were dedicated and worked hard on my custody case. I am a domestic violence survivor and they fought by my side for me and my daughter and we won our case. They always communicated with me and helped me through every step of the process. Kind and thorough

Excellent, Easy Divorce Experience

When my wife and I were getting a divorce, we had no idea what we were doing and all of the steps involved. I heard about Hope Law Firm before and their glowing recommendations so decided to give them a try. Katie and Shelby took our case and were so wonderful to work with.
