Steven B. Ruza

Steven Ruza is a self-motivated, versatile and analytical-oriented legal counselor with more than twenty (20) years of experience in the field of Law. He is a competent and proactive lawyer with more than seven (7) years of experience and expertise in bank workouts and debt settlements.

He acquired his wealth of knowledge at the University of Detroit Law School. He obtained his Juris Doctor from this prominent school in 1987. Juris Doctor (J.D.), or doctor of jurisprudence, is a degree garnered by completing law school. It is a professional doctorate and graduate degree in law. In June 1988, he was admitted to the Michigan State Bar.

In 1998, he received an LLM, Masters of Law and Taxation at the New York University Law School. LLM (Master of Laws) is a postgraduate law degree which is recognized internationally. Law professionals usually complete this degree to gain expertise in a specialized field and Steven completed his specialization in Taxation. Most law firms prefer those with an LLM degree because it shows that a lawyer has obtained advanced and specialized legal training. Lawyers with an LLM degree are eligible to be employed in a multinational legal environment.

Steven Ruza’s professional experience from 2007 to present is focused in his own law office, the Law Offices of Steven Ruza. He has expertise in resolving delinquent tax problems, tax disputes, tax debts and IRS back taxes. He has been helping individuals and businesses resolve their financial problems for more than 20 years. He worked with borrowers on home mortgage cases like stopping, cancelling, and delaying Sheriff Sales. He also worked hard to settle hundreds of credit card debts, mortgage debts, charge off and judgment plans. He has  executed dozens of Deed in Lieu, Cash for Keys, Redemptions, and Sale/Lease Backs.
