I enlisted Mr. Ruza's services in July, 2013 concerning a loan modification with my mortgage company. Finally, this month, May, 2015 we received the requested loan modification. It was a long extremely frustrating process dealing with this particular mortgage company. Even with it dragging on alm...ost 2 years, Mr. Ruza and his team stood behind me until this issue was resolved.

We own several investment properties. We could get nowhere with the banks on modifications. When I heard about Steve I called immediately. After talking to him on the phone my husband and I went to his office the next day and hired him. He not only got a quick modification on one property but wip...ed out the debt on another. After going around with Chase on another property that was foreclosed on and getting absolutely nowhere Steve took over. He got Fannie Mae to rescind the Sheriffs sale back to Chase and after deliberating we took a cash settlement for the house - an unheard of outcome. I recommend Steve to anyone who is banging their head against the wall with mortgage companies. He and his loyal assistant Jen have given me peace of mind and reduced our debt. He is also handling our credit card debt. I don't know how he does it all but I am glad he does.

I hired steve in August of 2014, after spending 10 months trying to do my own modification to no avail. My mortgage company, Flagstar, stopped taking payments from me in in October of 2013, I had just completed the step forward program for the hardest hit in Michigan, which was approved by Flagstar, ...in July of 2013. I believe something went wrong with my arreage's that were owed at the end of program. This action along with loss of income led me to try and modify, I had no idea how long and hard you could work at a single task and get no where. This is when I hired STEVE RUZA, his high energy and knowledge made me very hopeful that he could do the job and get our modification! That was in August 2014, this case may be one of his longest but he and his legal assistant JEN have been diligent and determined and have went above and beyond the services that I paid for. Thus, at this time my home is out of foreclosure and Sheriff sale procedures, and we are looking forward to having a modification and conclusion to this mess. In conclusion, If your on the fence about hiring an attorney, take my advice and hire STEVE RUZA and his legal team they will work hard for you and they won't give up, their DETERMINATION and PERSEVERANCE is second to none!

In the process, the mortgage was sold to Green Tree Financial and your team did an awesome job with a seamless transition from working with many different representatives from both Bank of American and with Green Tree Financial. I was always in the loop on what was taking place during the process and you were very instrumental in pointing out the errors which Bank of America made in the modification process which helped my cause tremendously. In the end, I was finally offered a modification from Green Tree Financial which was very fair and affordable for me. After a difficult time with Bank of America and trying to handle the modification on my own, you guys stepped in and forced them to be accountable (which, in my mind is why they sold my loan to Green Tree Financial). I have made my first payment on my modification and could not be happier. Thanks again to you and your team of support for an experience that can be very difficult for most homeowners. We were facing foreclosure on our home and Steve some how through his experience saved our situation from going very bad. Our loan through Chase bank was miss handled when we were supposed to have a lower interest rate, and loan amount due. Mr. Ruza saved it for us. We cannot thank him enough. I ha...d been separated from a government position to be closer to home when all this took place. I had to take a job that paid less money in order to be closer to my family, and finish my degree. Chase said they would help me with this transition. They were just waiting to seize the opportunity to take over my real estate. The bank promised us they would help and they wouldn't foreclose but they sent me to their attorney and set a day to sell my house at the court house. I called quite a few attorneys when I talked to Steve,. He is very veteran friendly and very understanding of many situations. Steve is a lawyer that does not quit at 3:00 pm to pick up the clubs and head for the golf course. He burns the midnight oil, and gets things done. After speaking with him we knew he was the right attorney. My family is so happy that we hired him.
