Steve was really great! My mom and I got a letter in the mail saying our house was going to be sold at auction and that he could help. We called the number immediately and set up a meeting. Steve had a daunting task: obtaining a loan modification from the notorious BANK OF AMERICA. When he warned me how crazy the big banks were, how duplicitous they were, and how they would make us jump through innumerable hoops, I really didn't believe him. Turns out, he underestimated how bad they ...would be. But he stuck with me, submitting and re-submitting my financials, until he came up with an unbelievably good modification: my payments were reduced from $6500 to $2500 per month, with my interest reduced from 6.5% to 2% ! He always returned my calls promptly, and was very good at keeping me informed-- when I called him personally, on his cel phone.
