All Crime, All the Time

The Law Office of John Freeman is "ALL CRIME, ALL THE TIME."  We handle criminal cases and administrative matters related to criminal cases.  We are not a general practice firm.  We do not attempt to juggle multiple areas of the law.  We focus all our energy and resources on criminal cases.  We use our exclusive experience in criminal law to defend the rights and freedom of our clients.

Our clients are individuals and corporate entities that are under investigation and/or formally charged with all types of federal and state crimes.  We appear in federal court, state court, and before a variety of administrative agencies, including County Gun Boards (CPL/CCW permits), the Secretary of State (Driver's License Appeals), the Department of Corrections (Parole), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (FFL regulation).

A Former Federal and State Prosecutor

John Freeman is a former federal and state prosecutor. In those roles, he handled a large number of high-profile cases, including murder, terrorism, high-level drug trafficking, robbery, white-collar charges and other federal crimes.  He now uses that experience to defend clients accused of serious felony and misdemeanor charges in federal and state court.

When your freedom is at risk, you cannot afford anything less than a strong and effective defense. The Law Office of John Freeman will work passionately to defend your rights and your freedom.

  • Michael J. Harrison

John is a terrific attorney. A former Assistant United States Attorney, I knew John as a prosecutor as well. Very smart, tough and creative. I endorse him wholeheartedly.

  • Peter John Marek

21 years of practicing criminal law is what we refer to as experienced. He has a huge advantage over most criminal defense attorneys having spent 7 years as a former assistant U.S. Attorney and another 7 as a former Deputy District Attorney. "They know that he knows what they know". John's knowledge of both criminal law and procedure is excellent and evident in his pro bono contributions here. Perhaps the greatest compliment are his numerous client reviews where those he defended have lavished great praise on him. READ THEM! Endorsements from his peer attorneys are also outstanding. Do yourself a favor and schedule a consultation with him ASAP. If you are lucky he might just agree to represent you.
