Rip off and nothing more!
John is a very hardworking lawyer to prosecute you in the court instead of protecting your rights. He is skilled in charging his clients for every minute of phone call, every word of email and every hour of meeting with no outcome! I have hired this lawyer last year for my case which was not consider...
I am sorry that you feel this way. At my firm, we strive to reach the best possible outcome for our clients. A client with unreasonable expectations presents a unique set of challenges. As you know, you faced multiple federal criminal charges that could have landed you in prison for decades before your ultimate removal from the United States. Instead, with your approval at every step in the process, I negotiated a resolution that resulted in your guilty plea to one felony and a time-served sentence. Rather than spending months incarcerated between your plea and sentencing dates, I successfully convinced the court and prosecutor to sentence you on the same day as your plea. You spent approximately one month incarcerated on the criminal charges, rather than the decades you faced without my assistance. As for fees, you paid exactly what you were quoted in a written fee agreement prior to my work on your behalf - nothing more and nothing less. Although you do not share my perspective, I consider your case a professional accomplishment. However, I am sorry that my firm was unable to meet your expectations.

John the miracle worker
I am a law enforcement officer that made a poor decision with no malicious intentions. As a result of my mistake I was prosecuted and was facing serious felonies and misdemeanors. Fortunately for me a friend had referred me to John Freeman. John was straight forward and didn't make any guarantees or ...

Sensitive situation

Top Notch
Mr. Freeman, I don't have the words to express my thanks for representing me. I couldn't have found a better attorney -- someone who takes the time to understand the nuances of legal matters, provides straightforward counsel and is "streetwise" savvy enough to know exactly when and how hard to push w...
"John gives full and detailed answers to tough legal questions. He is a great asset to the Avvo Community. I fully endorse this lawyer."
"I endorse this lawyer. Whenever one of my clients has a complex criminal matter, John Freeman is the first person i have them call, he is quick, responsive, and a all around star. He has helped many of my clients navigate some of the darkest times in their lives."
"John is a terrific attorney. A former Assistant United States Attorney, I knew John as a prosecutor as well. Very smart, tough and creative. I endorse him wholeheartedly."
"21 years of practicing criminal law is what we refer to as experienced. He has a huge advantage over most criminal defense attorneys having spent 7 years as a former assistant U.S. Attorney and another 7 as a former Deputy District Attorney. "They know that he knows what they know". John's knowledge of both criminal law and procedure is excellent and evident in his pro bono contributions here. Perhaps the greatest compliment are his numerous client reviews where those he defended have lavished great praise on him. READ THEM! Endorsements from his peer attorneys are also outstanding. Do yourself a favor and schedule a consultation with him ASAP. If you are lucky he might just agree to represent you."
"John is an exceptional and highly respected attorney who always represents his clients with the utmost skill, knowledge and understanding.i can readily endorse him without hesitation or reservation."
"I wholeheartedly endorse this lawyer. A brilliant, trustworthy and highly respected attorney in the legal community."
"An extremely talented and well respected attorney in the legal community, I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer who knows the law and truly cares about protecting the rights of his clients and getting them the most favorable result possible."
"John's extensive experience in state and federal courts highlights his experience as a criminal defense lawyer. He channels his personal passions into his work and his clients appreciate it. Before you hire another lawyer, talk to John."
"John Freeman is a consummate professional with massive experience in defending criminal allegations. If you have been charged with a serious crime or your freedom is being challenged, Mr. Freeman is the best attorney available. I highly endorse John Freeman."
"I endorse this lawyer.i practiced crinal law for over 40 years. John Freeman is one of the best I ever worked with. He's relentless!"
"I have had the opportunity to work alongside Mr. Freeman on a complex criminal matter recently and he did an excellent job. Mr. Freeman has excellent credentials and experience and I recommend him to prospective clients seeking an expert in criminal law."
"To emphasis John's respect in the criminal defense legal community, he is the lawyer that other criminal defense attorneys refer their friends and family to. As a criminal defense attorney myself, I can personally attest that I have used John's motions, advice, and legal strategies to win many of my cases. In addition to his tenacious and zealous representation of his clients, John brings the knowledge of having participated in many of the most difficult state and federal cases Michigan has ever seen. As a testament to his character, my father (who exclusively practices federal criminal defense) refers to John as one of the best, if not the best, US Attorney he ever faced. Of course, now that John exclusively represents criminal defendants, my thought is that those pesky prosecutors shake in their boots anytime they see his name on a pleading. There is no question about it, if my life was on the line, I'd have John represent me."
"John is one of the hardest working lawyers I know. And one of the smartest. He knows how to work with the government for a deal and how to challenge the government when necessary. I heartily recommend him to potential clients and to colleagues who need a criminal defense resource."
