Lowell S. Friedman

I was pulled over for having expired tabs on my license plate. I was written up for a misdemeanor for driving an unregistered vehicle. I spoke with Lowell and he walked me through the details of the case and I hired him. I showed up at pretrial and Lowell was able to negotiate the misdemeanor down to... a civil infraction. I had to pay a fine for the infraction but the misdemeanor was dismissed and nothing, not even the infraction, shows up on my record.

My young adult son lives 700 miles away from his father and me, with no family near him. Lowell Friedman shepherded him through a situation that could have had very serious consequences. Lowell's advice and guidance were on target, and delivered in a way that a newly independent young man accepted an...d followed his guidance. Because of Lowell's knowledge of Michigan law and the local justice system, and the way that he worked with my son, the result was the best possible outcome. (After I connected my son and Lowell, I was not involved directly with the case. However, my son and I talked a great deal during the process, and that is the source of this information.) All of us appreciate Lowell's help in this difficult time, and would recommend him without hesitation.

I have been thinking about writing this review for a long time, because I wanted it to be really really good. I can't express in words, my gratitude to Lowell and his team. They have been so helpful with everything, with questions, letting me know what to expect with the process, and with worries and... concerns that come up. They didn't answer every email, but they are very busy and did make sure everything was covered. I worked with Lowell and Alda, two lovely people from what I can tell. They are not only very good at what they do, but they are very likable folks that make you want to be around them. Unfortunately, we were not successful in my case, but that wasnt their fault at all, and given the chance, I would work with these guys on any day and on holidays. I got nervous, and blew the whole thing. Lowell did a masterful job of trying to fix it, but the judge simply refused to follow our states laws, so we lost. She even told me to hide anything I was doing that might be illegal from the police, and that I really shouldnt have that much to worry about. Maybe I can try again in a few years. I'll be calling this office first, and with confidence. Thank you for everything you guys did for me.
