Lowell S. Friedman

I knew Lowell from a past meeting that was very brief. My wife filed for divorce and I interviewed 4 attorneys and Lowell was my 5th. Before I met with Lowell, I had pretty much made my mind up on attorney 3. My first meeting with Lowell was not rushed and I truly enjoyed speaking with him. He is... very relaxed and does not hide behind legalese. I am sure my divorce was one of the easier ones for his firm to handle. But what I liked about working with him, his assistant Alda and their receptionist Amber was their availability via phone and email. I needed an unexpected meeting with Lowell part way through and I had an appointment within 2 or 3 days and again it was not rushed. I recently hired Lowell Friedman of Friedman Law to help me with my divorce. I went into my divorce not knowing what to expect. I hired Lowell Friedman for two family court issues and paid him the non-refundable retainer he asked for. We consulted several times regarding both issues. He handled the first part of my case then abruptly told me I didn't have a strong case for the second issue. He refused to refund the other half... of my retainer and stopped returning correspondence. Be aware his office does not send invoices. I had to request an invoice countless times to get an accounting of my retainer balance.

Back in January, I reached out to Lowell Friedman's offices and I would have to say it was one of the best decisions I had ever made. I had gotten myself into some pretty serious trouble (DUI) and also picked up a few other charges with the City of Royal Oak and I was so nervous and worried about ...what was going to happen.
