Lowell S. Friedman

A graduate of Michigan State University and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and a member of the Oakland County Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan, Lowell Friedman is the founder and managing member of the Friedman Law Firm, PLLC. Lowell’s long-term practice focuses exclusively on Family Law and Criminal Defense.

A proficient Michigan trial lawyer, Lowell frequently appears in court to handle motions, hearings, and trials throughout the State of Michigan, from everywhere in the metropolitan Detroit area to the western and northern parts of the state.

Due to his success, Lowell has received the distinguished Super Lawyers award, which is based on an independent rating of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Lowell is actively involved in the community. He recently completed his term on the Board of Directors of Hillel Day School and participates in several civic organizations in the Royal Oak and Berkley area.

Lowell is happily married to his wife Jennifer, a Ph.D. in psychology who has worked for many years with young people and families to assure they are learning and thriving at the highest levels. Lowell and Jennifer enjoy spending time with their two children, Max and Jacob.
