Unfortunately I'm going through a divorce. My wife started scaring me with worse case scenario type of things. I found David Steele on line and sent an email @ 4am. He called me before he even started his day because he cared instantly. David Steele then proceeded all day to prove just how much. I wa...s stunned from start to finish and remain stunned. NOBODY moves this quickly. I met him over the phone at 6am and by 8:30 I was signing the papers. I can not say enough about how much this man cares about what he does. Simply amazing!

I've been drug through hell & back by old attorneys that are only out for their best interest & of course money..they don't care to lie to you let alone steal from you & do nothing.. I didn't have any of this with Mr. Steele "David"... The first time I met him I had a over-load of crap I needed taken... care of & he just looked at me like it was all a piece of cake..' His words to me were ""I have your back now & let me be your backbone from now on"" some times you can just tell if people mean what they say or not & I seriously feel like this man LOVES what he does & cares for his clients ; he will joke with you & call you back at 9 PM but to me that's a damn good attorney! I thank you so much & would most definitely uses you again if needed:)

I know that David is known for his excellent representation of his family law clients, and knowing Mr. Steele personally, I can tell you that this is very accurate. He is completely devoted to his clients and his cases and I know how much time he spends calling his clients in the evenings and on the... weekends. He is truly dedicated. And on top of all of that, he took the time to do legal work for a nonprofit company for which I work for absolutely free! Not only does he care about his clients and their cases, he is also truly dedicated to his community and helping those organizations that help others. He is a truly amazing person, both professionally and personally, and I am truly grateful for the work he has done for me and for the time that I have known him as an attorney. Many lawyers will try to say that they are this knowledgeable in the law, but only a few truly know the ins and outs of so many legal arenas. He is the best!

I really don't know where to start. David was the ONLY attorney who would even talk to me on the phone without wanting money first or being really rude and basically hanging up on me after 30 seconds. He called me back after I left him a voicemail. i didn't expect that after all the jerks I had tal...ked to. He talked to me for 70 minutes. I swear to God. At 6:00 at night. And never asked me for a dime for spending over an hour with someone who just called him. And at that point, I didn't know what to think. Was he a little crazy? Was he this desperate for a client...why would he go to such phenomenal lengths to help me? It wasn't until later, when I became a client, I realized that he is one of the biggest lawyers in Indy, if not the whole state. And once I got to know him and I saw what he did to my husband's attorney in court, it is ABSOLUTELY not a surprise to me. And trust me - he's exceptionally busy. He often called me as late as 10:00; i mean, he was always working and he still made me feel like I was his only client and that his whole company hinged on whether or not he won. And by winning I mean getting me custody of my two girls. I would have died if I lost them. I simply would have died. And he did all this while his phone, his receptionist's phone, his paralegal's phone and his associate lawyer's phones were ringing off the hook. And in court...I just don't know how to describe it. He was so much better at what he does than the other lawyer, it just made the man look silly. My husband was losing his sh%$ the entire time because it was so obviously not going his way and david just got cooler and calmer as it went on and that just drove him more nuts. Which then rattled his attorney. And David was unflappable.. He even started smiling really subtly at my husband at his table when no one was looking. it was straight out of a movie. trust me - he deserved everything david gave him. I don't know what else to say. I've never once logged onto the internet to review anything or post anything. But david got me my girls by working harder and smarter and honestly just caring more than anyone else. and he did it all for the original retainer as he promised he would try to do though he couldn't guarantee it. I paid $3,000 to start and while I don't know exactly how lawyers work, I know that at his hourly rate, we went WAY WAY over $3,000. But he knew I was absolutely broke because my husband left us high and dry and I had to borrow the money of my aunt and uncle. He always acted like I had money left on my retainer and I know it was because he didn't want to make me feel like a charity case. And the frustrating part is there was absolutely no way on God's earth I can adequately thank him. What do you do for someone who rescued your life? and in such a cool and almost fun way (he's absolutely hilarious, by the way - you will feel comfortable with him in about 30 seconds)? So I tried to write something on his website to at least try to say thank you but there's no way to thank him on his site but I found this link. Then I read all the other people he helped and it's just amazing. every one of us had the same experience. He seriously is the #1 divorce/custody lawyer in Indiana. There's no question. Does anyone else have reviews like this? Anywhere? David - I know you don't read these but if you ever do, know that I am crying as I write this and I will never be able to thank you enough. You saved me. You saved my daughters and only you and I know what you saved them from. Thank you.
