Adam Lutzke has vast experience in the area of family law and estate planning. Since he was admitted to practice law in 2010, he has focused his career primarily in the areas of divorce, legal separation, child custody, child support, guardianships, and wills. Adam received a Lead Counsel Rating in the areas of divorce and family law in 2015 by the Lead Counsel Review Board, was selected as one of the Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 for family lawyers in the state of Indiana for 2016 by the American Society of Legal Advocates, was selected as one of the 2016 Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 in Indiana by The National Advocates, and was selected as one of the 10 Best Attorneys for exceptional and outstanding client service by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys in 2017.

Adam was born and raised on the northeast side of Indianapolis, Indiana, and attended Lawrence Central High School. He then studied criminal justice and business at Indiana University–Bloomington prior to obtaining his Juris Doctor from the Saint Louis University School of Law. After returning to Indiana in 2010, Adam met his beautiful wife and they now live on the northeast side of Indianapolis with their son.

Highly Recommend

Adam was extremely helpful in his preparation of our last wills and testaments. The communication from his office was timely. I hired Mr Lutzke to represent t me which he done an excellent job. He represented me with case dealing with visitation and custody. This was a case I thought I had no hope of having a fair trial. With Mr. Lutzke he is my family attorney for life I'm so impressed with his knowledge and expertise about the current law and new revised law. Wonderful attorney which I highly recommend.

Excellent experience

My case was turned over to Adam after my family law attorney retired. How I wish I had found Adam to begin with! I had such a pleasant experience with Adam and he was very effective in communicating with my ex husband and keeping both of us calm treading through what was left of an agreed entry. He also handled routine matters, like contacting the court on a matriculation matter, and his fee was nominal-unlike my prior attorney. Adam was truly a pleasure to work with and a consummate professional.

Great job!

Adam helped me get guardianship of my elderly mother. My mother has dementia and had neglected to write a will. We were at a point where nothing could be accomplished without a legal guardian. Adam walked me through the whole process, explained everything in great detail. He was right beside me in court and everything went flawlessly. Adam was quick to respond to emails and text messages. Adam was very patient with my ignorance of the situation, I couldn't have asked for a better guy to be by my side.

I had a divorce and custody issue, and Mr. Lutzke was awesome! He keeps you up to date and well informed. I honestly am thankful that I came across Adam, he made it easy and he's always on top of your case. A great guy and an awesome lawyer!

Highly highly recommended

I don't think that I can find the words to explain how wonderful my experience was with Adam representing us ( my son and I) in our child support case. Adam always showed compassion and professionalism. Whether I contacted him by phone, text or even email he always answered in record time and was always there. His knowledge of family law gave me the reassurance I needed to feel secure and to know that I made the right choice in picking him to walk with us through this emotional process. Adam also went over and beyond with making sure all documents were just right for our hearings. He showed great patience when dealing with the courts and with the respondent. I actually tear up a little bit when I think about how emotionally draining this case was but how Adam stood by us and stayed adamant. Overall I can't enough good things about my experience. If I ever need anything in regards to my child support case or even general family law concerns.... I would definitely go back to Adam, without a doubt! He is... cliche' as this might sound.... the best and I will never forget him and what he did for us. He will always have a place in my heart

Excellent Experience

Adam was referred to us by a family friend to assist with a modification of child support and visitation. He was very knowledgeable, consistent with communication, explained things clearly, and was patient with my questions. He respected my wishes as his client and helped me come to a peaceful resolution of my case. Adam even took the time to speak with me about legal matters I had prior to even meeting him or retaining him. He is very professional and I will definitely use him again should I need any legal assistance in the future. His retainer and fees are extremely reasonable.

Solid representation

Adam did a great job walking me through my custody case. Any questions or concerns I had he addressed. Adam's communication between hearings and mediation was more than what I could ask for. He is very knowledable of family law and I would recommend him to anybody that is going through any family law situations.

Handled sticky divorce with child well

Adam took over my divorce when I found out that it would be contested. There were no custody disputes so I can not speak to that. The case was settled through mediation at relatively low cost in comparison to many other firms. He was always responsive and helped to ease the stress where possible.

Both responsive and helpful.

Excellent Experience Developing Estate Planning Documents

We were referred to Adam through a family friend. Adam helped us generate multiple estate plannning documents. Adam assisted us with wills, power of attorney, and similar documents. He and his assistant worked quickly, answered all of our questions, and alleviated our concerns with subject matter that is not pleasant to discuss.

Easy to work with in a difficult time

I needed to find a lawyer that paid attention to my situation and my needs when it came time to file for divorce. Adam was wonderful to work with - sympathetic, very responsive and very knowledgeable. He treated me and my situation as unique. I never felt like he was just going through the motions. Nor did I ever feel nickel and dimed. I always felt like Adam and his support staff were on-top of the situation. They provided updates and information in a very timely manner. Divorce was definitely not the outcome I ever envisioned for my marriage, but Adam made the entire process as smooth and easy as possible.

Good Choice for a bad situation

I recently went through a divorce, and Mr. Lutzke was friendly, professional and kind throughout the process. He knew his family law and knew what needed to be done and handled the case promptly and fair. When I needed him he was just a phone call or email away. Though it was a bad time he made it just a little bit easier, by me not having to worry about the ins and outs of the legal system.
