Biography
Mark Anthony Rafidi was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. He has practiced law in nearly every county throughout the State of Ohio. He is also licensed and has practiced law in the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio. Mark is the Managing Partner and Founder of Rafidi, Pallante & Melewski, LLC (fka Amendolara & Rafidi, LLC), an Ohio based, multi office boutique law firm.
His practice now concentrates on Business Consulting, Corporate Law and Personal Injury Law. Mark has negotiated and drafted multi-million dollar contracts for his business clients and has successfully achieved multi-million dollar settlements/awards for his personal injury clients. He now prides himself on detailed and limited representation of select clientele in both fields of law. Limiting his representation allows him to focus on the details necessary to successfully advise and represent clients in very complex unique legal issues in the fields of business law and personal injury.
His clientele include sports athletes, celebrities, accountants, lawyers, health care practitioners, financial institutions, real estate developers, gaming companies, franchisees / franchisors, Internet / technology companies, transport companies, retailers, entertainment companies, manufacturing companies, wholesalers, liquor distributors, and a vast array of personal injury clients ranging from wrongful death victims to motor vehicle accident clients involving lower impact musculoskeletal injuries.
Mark graduated summa cum laude (with highest honors) with a BBA from Ohio University in 1995 with a double major in Business Pre-Law and Marketing. While at Ohio University, Mark also completed the full course range of study in Insurance and Real Estate with perfect 4.0 GPAs. Mark went on to law school attending the University of Toledo College of Law in 1995. Although his legal career formally started in 1998 after successfully passing the Ohio Bar Exam, he has been involved in the legal world since 1993, clerking and assisting lawyers in the field during his studies.
Mark not only advises clients in the national and international business world but has also invested, owned, and operated numerous businesses in the retail, real estate, restaurant, liquor, and franchise industries. Mark is an avid world traveler and has visited over 40 different countries. His travels and business acumen have also led him to become an international real estate investor and developer. His legal career has also led him to become a consultant in the health care industry as a managing member of a Physician Consulting Group.
Mark is also a staunch advocate for his personal injury clients. He has represented thousands of injured victims involving automobile, motorcycle, truck, ATV, slip and fall, medical malpractice, wrongful death, premise liability, political subdivision, pedestrian, and bicycle accidents. He has obtained millions of dollars in recovery for his clients injured as a result of the negligent or willful conduct of the at fault party.
