December 2015, I was pulled over and arrested for an OVI. I looked on this website and decided to have Jon Sinn represent me in court. Don't waste your time looking for another Lawyer. Jon Sinn is the best lawyer for you. Ive used Mr.Sinn for every case and always got great turn outs! Always on top of things for me. He knows the court house better then anybody, he has an excellent connection with the judges,Police and prosecutors ...which tells you alot about what he's able to do. Normally, I never leave reviews and I often overlook and dismiss them. But, in this case, I can make an exception and have decided to share my story with anyone who reads it because of how impressive this attorney was with my situation. It started out as simple altercation between two total strangers..., then one thing lead to another, and it ended with our fists. After the police arrived, even though I had a clean record and was a responsible citizen, I was immediately roughed up and treated like a criminal (probably due to my 'rugged' appearance). It ended with me going to jail and being charged with Felonious Assault, a Felony 2! I woke up excited for the nice weather that day only hours later to be looking at possibly going to prison for 8 years. 8 years! I then hired who an attorney told me was to be 'the best attorney possible' for my case. Throughout my case I was repeatedly told that I was looking at probation. Even after endless court evaluations, psychological evaluations, and weekly drug tests I was told by EVERY party that I was definitely not a threat to society and would be looking at probation at the worst... Well, they were all wrong. About 3 or 4 days prior to my last court date, I was told that my best option possible is to plead guilty and go to prison for 4 YEARS or I would face doing a FULL 8 YEARS! I always felt like there was something else going on behind the scenes that I was unaware of considering the circumstances. I have never been in trouble, I was a simple husband and father, and I passed all of the tests, provisions, and evaluations the courts dolled out with flying colors, but was still told to go to prison over (albeit stupid) a simple fight. I always had the mentality through life and always thought "if you did nothing wrong, there's nothing to worry about." and to "trust the system, it works". But, boy was I wrong. After talking with my wife, my family, and friends, we all decided that me biting the bullet and just taking 4-years would be way better than going up against a 50/50 chance of doing 8 years. So, off to prison I went... After going to prison, my friends, family, and many community members fought feverishly to get me out of prison, but to no avail. They appraoched attorney after attorney whom all said the same thing: "with his judge, the type of charge, and community pressure, there is nothing that can be done for him". Then, my loving wife was able to reach out to Jon Sinn. Sinn immediately looked over my case, looked over the facts, and instantly said, "this guy definitely doesn't belong in prison". Being a former prosecutor, my wife trusted that Sinn knew what he was talking about and instantly hired him to fight for my freedom. He said that it would not be easy and that there are tons of hurdles above, but it can be done with enough perseverance. Sinn went forwards, fighting hard, and proving to the courts, the judge, and anyone else that opposed, that my case was extremely harsh and that I was a model person not only out of prison, but behind bars as well. He fought ridiculously in court and stood tall and aggressive agains the harsh things the prosecution was saying. Shortly after a couple of hearings that Sinn had in front of the judge, I was being recalled back from prison to court. I went for my court date in front of the judge and prosecution and was petrified of going back to prison to do anymore time than I had done in the few months already. Then, against all odds and after arguing loudly against the prosecution, the judge gave their decision: "This man is to be released!". I instantly cried, and sobbed in happiness, and Sinn put his hand on around me and firmly grasped my shoulder and quietly said, "You're free, it's over. You're going home." A violent Felony-2, with a heavy sentence and all odds against me, Sinn fought and got me home in just a couple months time, while everyone else objected.
