Elder Care Consultation

I was in need of consultation on legalities and obligations regarding an elder care issue involving my 85-year old mother. After failing to get assistance from several other firms in the Cleveland area Rachel graciously consented to consult with me and was extremely helpful in providing answers to questions on hospitalization, Do-not-Resuscitate protocol, Power-of-Attorney documents, and various other questions concerning the rights and obligations of a child to a parent. I also discussed with her the liability issues that might arise when an elder person does not have the finances to cover medical bills. Rachel provided me with some much-needed direction in all of these areas. Thank you very much!

Elder Law

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of Rachel Kabb-Effron and her staff. We consulted Rachel following a medical diagnosis for my father, which would ultimately result in him needing long term care. She was able to provide my family with a comprehensive plan to ensure that his long term care needs would be met while protecting the estate. Both Rachel and the staff were very knowledgeable about the public benefits available, especially the VA benefits. The firm truly focused on the care of the clients and what is in their best interest.

Thank you for your outstanding service!

As your loved one ages, you want the Kabb Law Firm on your side. It is difficult to quantify how much they can reduce your stress by acting as your advocate and gathering all the resources you need to care for an aging loved one. Our needs were simple. Highly recommended lawyer!

Rachel has been instrumental in helping my husband and I with his parents' elder care needs. She provided us with a comprehensive plan to create a Trust to protect their assets as well as a plan to utilize Medicaid and VA benefits. Her team of social workers have provided support for various issues including helping to secure a hospice provider for my father-in-law. We are very pleased with the services her firm has provided. I have recommended Rachel to others and plan to continue to do so.

Kabb Law - made it all work out

I was referred to Kabb Law by a friend at a time when I was at my wits end trying to find care and coverage for my mother who suffers from dementia. I cannot speak highly enough about the service that we received from Rachel and her exquisite staff. Within three weeks, they had addressed our financial planning, Medicaid application, physical and mental evaluations and nursing home location for my mother. They listened to my concerns about having my mom nearby so my brother and I could visit regularly. My mother is in a safe and lovely location near my home and I have Rachel to thank for that. I am able to sleep again. I simply donâ€™t know what I would have done without Rachel and her team. I highly recommend them.

Rachel Kabb-Effron is a wonderful Elder Law Attorney

Rachel Kabb-Effron was a wonderful help to my father and me during my mother's dimentia. Rachel was instrumental in getting my mother on Medicaid, so we could place her in a wonderful facility. Rachel was very patient with my father, who was not always pleasant. She was great at keeping both my father and me informed every step of the process. Rachel also helped prepare a living will for my father, a power of attorney for my father, and she updated my parents' will. Rachel is a kind, sensitive person, and is very knowledgeable about the ever-changing elderlaw issues.
